Reading Between the Lines – Part 2 March 3rd, 2019

JOHN 10:24-27 24Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

MATTHEW 11:25,26 25At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

60-0802 EL SHADDAI E-54) Now notice, in reading the let--the Bible, it's a love letter to the church. Now, when I get overseas, Meda writes me a letter, she says, "Dear Billy. I'm setting here tonight; just got the baby to sleep, and so forth." She's saying something here, but you see, I--I can tell what's she's talking about, 'cause I love her so much, I know all about her, and I can read between the lines. I know what she's saying (See?), reading between the lines. Now, God's wrote the Bible, a love letter to His Church. Until you read the--with love, you'll never be able through a cold-educational program ever find God. You've got to have the love of God in your heart, then you'll read between the lines. That's where the real thing lays. E-55) I appreciate what Meda says, but it's the love that I find between the lines that counts to me. That's the way it is with the Bible. I read between the lines, what He's saying.

56-0816 THE WORKING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT E-62) …….Well, now look how old Abraham was. He was a hundred, and Sarah was ninety. Now, so that some of you brethren won't say, "Oh, well, they just lived longer in that day." The Bible said they were both well-stricken in age. Is that right? The Bible said so. Now, you know what God did? He proved by taking His Word, him laying on the breast of El Shaddai, He proved to Abraham what He's going to do to every one of Abraham's seed. Amen. He turned Abraham and Sarah back to a young man and woman; what He did. He sure did. E-63) Now, the Bible, you can't just take the Bible just like you was reading a newspaper. The Bible is a love letter. Did you know that? The Bible says the--that He's hid these things from the eyes of the wise and prudent, and reveal them to babes such as will learn. Is that right? Now here, when I go overseas, my wife will write me a letter, and she'll say, "Dear Billy, I'm with... here... I just put the children to bed..." and she'll write me a letter. Now, I can read what she says there. Yeah, anybody could read that. But you know, I love her so much, I can read between the lines. I know what she's saying in between the lines. Well, that's the way God does His Bible. E-64) Now, the students can argue the Greek words, but the believer reads between the lines. Amen. It's revealed by the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. God writing His letter to His children, reading between the lines...

64-0621 THE TRIAL 119) Now you say, "Radical, Brother Branham!" Just a minute, see if he did. Notice, they turned back to a young man and woman. Now you say, "Oh, Brother Branham!" Now, God hides His Message between the lines. The seminary will never know It. That's right. No, no. It's a love story.

53-0326 ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH 64) Along came Abraham with a promise. Sarah died. He buried her right near Job, bought a parcel of ground and buried her. When Abraham died, he slept by Sarah. Abraham begot Isaac. Isaac died; he slept with Abraham. Isaac begot Jacob. Jacob died way down in Egypt; he said, "Don't bury me down here. Swear that you won't bury me here. Take my bones and bury them up there with my father." Why, why? That's not written, brother, it's in between the lines. Joseph, when he died, said, "Now, you put my bones here in a casket, but don't you bury me here. Don't you bury me down here. You take me up there and bury me, up in the promised land. Bury me up there." Why? Said, "God's going to visit you someday. I'm leaving my bones here to represent something."

53-0326 ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH 72) …….No wonder they said, "Bury me in Palestine." They knowed the resurrection was going to be in Palestine.

53-0327 ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH 43) Now, then we find that after four hundred years... Last night we had the type of the patriarchs: got back in between the lines and see why they wanted to be buried in--in promised land. Did you like it? Enjoy that? Why, now that's not written right there, but you see it.

61-0119A THE WATER BAPTISM E-18) Well, that's the way the Bible's wrote--between the lines. You know many of my sermons, like of God turning Abraham and Sarah back to young people, you'd have to... you have read between the lines to see out what the Scripture says. You have to know. But it'll never get off the line. See? In between the lines will just bring the lines together and make it one big picture. Now, it's got to be a love affair with God before you can ever get it, cause the Holy Spirit wrote the Bible; and the Bible said that it is of no private interpretation, but it's inspired.

53-0606 AN ENSIGN E-10) Then along come Joseph. He said, "Now, wait." They put his bones in a coffin. I had my hand on an old lead coffin here, not long ago, they he was supposed to had his bone in. He said, "When you go out of here, bury my bones up there. Don't bury me down here." I wonder why? It isn't written in the Bible, but they were prophets: they could read between the lines. They knew that that firstfruits of the resurrection wasn't coming in Egypt; it was coming in Palestine. And when Jesus came on earth and they done to Him what they said they would do, and when He died and rose on the third day, Matthew 27 said, "Many of the bodies of the saints that slept in the dust of the earth, rose and come out of the grave and entered into the city": Abraham, Isaac, Jacob... Therefore, have anything you wish to, but bury me in Christ, "For those that are in Christ will God bring with Him at His coming." Hide away from the world. What a beautiful picture. There it's between the lines. What the Bible says and what you see in between the lines goes right on with the rest of the Word, but it just fills up the gaps when you wonder why they was doing it.

59-0417 JEHOVAH JIREH E-23) Now, as I expressed a few moments ago about reading between the lines... But if you're reading between the lines and try to make It say something, that in between the lines says something different than what the lines says, then it's wrong. But it's got to agree, all the way through It. The Bible is just like a great jig-saw puzzle, if you'll excuse the expression. And if you just try to put it together just the way you look at it, you've got to have something over here to look at. If you don't, you'll ruin your scene. You'll have a cow picking grass on top of a tree. So it won't be right. So that's the way it is with--when you try to put the Bible together with a intellectual understanding of It. You can't do it. It's a Spirit written Word, and it takes the Holy Spirit to place It together. Then you get the whole great picture from Eden out into chaos, and the way of the cross back home. That's the entire picture: God's redemption story of sending His own Son to redeem a lost and polluted people.

54-0403 THE HAND OF THE LORD CAME UPON HIM E-59) …….She said, "Why, the well's deep and so forth." And they got to talking... Then what was He doing? Now, this is between the lines, friends. That's the reason they re--failed to recognize Jesus Christ when He come. They'd read the Scriptures about it, but they failed to recognize Him. And it's the same thing today; we got our own ritualistic routine. Anything out of that, we don't believe it. Fundamental as we can be, but God comes right in between the lines sometimes. We fail to see it. Now, He was contacting her spirit.

GALATIANS 3:6-9 6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

ROMANS 4:9-16 9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

GALATIANS 4:21-31 21Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? 22For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that 3

bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. 28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. 29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. 30Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. 31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

ACTS 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

MATTHEW 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

II CORINTHIANS 3:12-18 12Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

LUKE 24:44,45 44And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

64-1221 WHY IT HAD TO BE SHEPHERD 140) But the other two had voices of prophecy. (I--I--I hope you're reading now, between lines, what I'm saying.) But the other two signs had voices of prophecy to Israel concerning their future. (Now to you that was up on the mountain not long ago, when the rock was threw up.)

64-0618 THE PRESENCE OF GOD UNRECOGNIZED 208) …….And to prove what I was saying a while ago, as the Angel of the Lord in the days gone by, the days past, by, Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man." Can you see what I was talking about, them names and everything else positionally, the church sitting right, can you see it? Now I'm sure you read between the lines of things that I didn't speak, you see what I meant.

65-1125 THE INVISIBLE UNION OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST 341) May these people here, visible, that held up their hand, tonight, dozens of them through this great tabernacle. I pray, God, that new Life will come into them. I pray it, for across the nation and even around the world, where the tape will be played, that they also will receive this thanksgiving Message and know, by the hints and things that's been throwed, what they must do.

64-0614M THE UNVEILING OF GOD 22) Now, my subject this morning, I trust that God will reveal this. And each time, if you who take the tapes and listen, and I hope and trust that--that you have had a spiritual understanding of what that God has been trying to get over to the Church without saying it right out. See? It's a thing, sometime, we have to say things in such a way that it might thin down, it might bring some to go out, some to leave, and some to--to--to ponder over. But that's done purposely. It must be done that way. 23) Then it might be that some would say, "You mean God would purposely do a thing like that?" He certainly did. He does yet.

61-0516A JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER E-67) Two of them got up and went down to Sodom. They went down there to preach, down to Sodom. Oh, if you're spiritual you'll probably catch it. Did you notice? Them two that went down there, they did not do any miracles, only blind their eyes to the door. (And preaching the Gospel blinds the unbelievers' eyes.) But they was two men went down there to preach, to bring Lot out of Sodom.

63-0728 CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED 578) Now we see the promise being fulfilled. Christ, the true Headship going in, coming in His Bride, doing the same works that He did at the beginning, and making ready and fulfilling His Word as He did, at first, in John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me the works that I do shall he do also." Then, the Head and the Body are becoming One, in works and in sign and in Life, vindicated by God Hisself through His promised Word for the last days. He promised this in the last days. Now, if you're spiritual, you'll catch it.

63-0126 INVESTMENTS 248) But one day, that, God changed that ministry in Him, from miracles to the teaching of the Word. 249) Surely you can read between the lines. You're not that blind. If it is, you can lay a pencil between your eyes and put your eyes out, notice, notice, a pencil that would write the Word of God. 250) Notice, as soon as God changed His ministry from His miracles. His miracles went on, but not like that. He begin to tell them the straight Scripture Truth and where they was standing. The crowd walked away from Him. "This is a hard Saying."

63-0728 CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED 335) That's the only way you'll know Him today, only way you'll get the threefold revelation of God, is for the Holy Ghost. And the only way it can ever be, is you're predestinated to see it. If it don't, you'll never see it. If you're not predestinated to see it, you'll never see it; 'cause that Light can flash and you'll go away and make fun of it, and explain it away, by some intellectual conception. When the very God, Himself, manifesting Himself and proving it, see, but, if it ain't upon you to see it, you won't see it.

65-0822M CHRIST IS REVEALED IN HIS OWN WORD 93) And, notice, "To whom He will reveal It." And He so designed that He can hide Himself in the Scripture, to the smartest theologian there is. Oh, my! He can just hide Himself, set right there in the Scripture, and you look all day long and never see it; look a lifetime, and never see it. He can just hide Himself, setting there. 94) Now, please, everywhere, let that soak in. That, God, in the Word, can hide Himself so in the Word, that there isn't a theologian or a school in the world could ever find Him, and yet He's setting right there.

63-0318 THE FIRST SEAL 8) Did you get to study in Jeremiah, how he wrote that, many of you taken it down last night? How them Seals were wrote and placed away for keeping until he returned after seventy years of the captivity. He was to return back and claimed his possession. And I certainly like to study it. You can't... There's no way to express it all, because it's an eternal Word. It's an eternal Book. And therefore, we just have to kindly hit the high places. And today in studying, I have written down many Scriptures so you can study it. And also in the tapes will reveal much of it as you study. And... 10) There are so many things. If I could just stand here at the platform and reveal it to you the way it's revealed to me in the room, my, it would be marvelous. But when you get here, you're pressed, and you just kind of jump over the things and try to just get the main part to the people that they might see it.

63-0321 THE FOURTH SEAL 257) …….If I had an education, I could bring it out. I haven't got no education. I'm just expecting the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you. He will to those who... That's right. He will do it.

63-0324M QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON THE SEALS 23) Now, look here. Let me show you something. See? Did you know there's ten thousands of voices in this room right now, literally voices of people that's coming through the electronic waves of radio? Why don't you hear them? They're voices. Is that right? They're waving right through here now. There's people, forms, and bodies moving right through this room now. Is that right? Well, why don't you see them? They're here, actual voices, like my voice. Well, why don't you hear it? See, it's got to strike something first to reveal it. See? Now, do you understand? So just don't interpret nothing. If God wants you to know anything, He will send it to you (See?); so just be real, real solid now. Hold still. Something has happened. And now just be real... You understand what I mean, don't you? And just be... 25) Don't try to make yourself odd to be a Christian, because (You see?), you take yourself away from God and you--you--you... If you can understand it, this is that third pull. You should've caught that the other day.

65-0219 THIS DAY THIS SCRIPTURE IS FULFILLED 163) And that next morning, at ten o'clock, sitting in there, my room there, about ten o'clock, the Angel of the Lord came down. He said, "Go to Tucson. You'll be northeast of Tucson, and there will come seven Angels in a cluster that will shake the whole earth around you." And said, "It'll be told you from there." 164) How many remembers that, here, way before it happened? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] There is men sitting right here in this building tonight, was standing right there when it happened. 165) And said, "The Seven Seals of the hidden mysteries of the entire Bible will be opened, and fulfill Revelations 10, that in the seventh angel's Message these things should come to pass." This day this Scripture is fulfilled before our eyes. This day this Scripture is fulfilled.

62-1230E IS THIS THE SIGN OF THE END SIR 244) The mysteries, here is "the mystery." A mystery is Scripture, is a previously hidden Truth now Divinely revealed, but (which is) a supernatural element still remains despite the revelation.
