With 28 years experience in the Food & Beverage industry, Chef Sabri’s commitment to perfection has gained him the honour of winning many prestigious awards such as Best Chef of the Year 2002 from Chef Association of Malaysia, Most Outstanding Culinary Arts Award/ Ice Carving in Vienna, 2001, Best Creative Chef Malaysian Truly Asia Award 2007, Expert Cookery Trade 34 for Asean skill at Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia and World Skill at St Gallen, Swiss Germany. He has been named as Malaysia’s Top 5 Pastry Chef in Hospitality Asia Platinum Award and HAPA Platinum Awards for Asian Best Pastry Chef 2011. He also participated in the World Guinness Record of Largest Chefs Catering In Daejeon South Korea for World Association of Chefs Societies.

His most recent achievements was to represent Malaysia’s Pastry Team and was awarded overall Top 5 in the International Sugar Art Competition (Mondial Des Arts Surges) Paris and being chosen to sit in as a Certify Judge for World Association of Chefs Societies 2012. Chef Peter Chan has 30 years working experience in kitchen & foodservice operations in international hotels, resorts and healthcare environment, with strong skills in management of daily operation which includes nutritional value analysis, menu planning, food preparation & presentation, forecast, cost control and hygiene & sanitation.

He has spearheaded the opening of several 5-star hotels and was also part of the panel of International Judges for Salon Culinaire Malaysia, Food Hotel Thailand, Food Hotel Vietnam, Food Hotel China, Shanghai and Food Hotel Asia, Singapore just to name a few. Chef Johari was the Chef Association of Malaysia’s President from 2005-2008. In September 2011, he was named the National Expert for cooking skill in the World Skills Competition (Skills Olympic) representing Malaysia in London.

He was also the judge and host for “Master Chef Malaysia” Season 1 on Astro TV Channel. He is the creative force behind the creation of NESTLÉ PROFESSIONAL’s many exquisite recipes and products development for the past 7 years. He has been part of a team of juries, judging for cooking competitions such as the Salon Culinaire Malaysia, Pan Ku Su Chinese Association Golden Chef, Penang Chefs Challenge, Penang Battle of the Chefs, Hospitality Fiesta, NESTLÉ Culinary Arts Award and NESTLÉ Golden Chef Hat Award.

She works closely with key professional bodies related to nutrition and health, for example the Nutrition Society Malaysia (NSM), Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO), Malaysia Dieticians’ Association (MDA) and with the Ministry of Health (MOH).
