  • Check List of Slovenian Microlepidoptera
Prejeto / Received: 14.6.2010 Sprejeto / Accepted: 19.8.2010 Check list of Slovenian Microlepidoptera Tone LESAR(†), Marijan GOVEDIČ1 1 Center za kartografijo favne in flore, Klunova 3, SI-1000 Ljubljana; e-mail: [email protected] Abstract. A checklist of the Microlepidoptera species recorded in Slovenia is presented. Each entry is accompanied by complete references, and remarks where appropriate. Until now, the data on Microlepidopteran fauna of Slovenia have not been compiled, with the existing information scattered in literature, museums and private collections throughout Europe. The present checklist is based on records extracted from 290 literature sources published from 1763 (Scopoli) to present. In total, 1645 species from 56 families are listed. Keywords: Microlepidoptera, checklist, Slovenia, fauna Izvleček. Beitr. 47/2 1311-1319 30.12.2015 Taxonomic Survey on Macrocentrinae and Orgilinae fauna (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) from North-eastern Anatolian Region of Turkey Ahmet BEYARSLAN A b s t r a c t : In order to determine Braconidae fauna of Turkey, adult specimens of Macrocentrinae and Orgilinae were collected from various habitats of provinces Ardahan, Erzurum, Iğdır and Kars of Turkish north-eastern Anatolian region using Malaise and light traps and sweeping nets among 2012 and 2014. In total, 14 species belonging 3 genera are reported for the studied region among which Macrocentrus bicolor CURTIS, 1833, M. resinellae (LINNAEUS, 1758) and Orgilus (Orgilus) radialis JAKIMAVICIUS, 1972 are recorded for the first time from Turkey. The numbers of species of each genus are as follows: Macrocentrinae; Macrocentrus CURTIS, 1833: 7, Kerorgilus van ACHTERBERG, 1985: 1, and Orgilinae; Orgilus HALIDAY, 1833: 6. K e y w o r d s : Macrocentrinae, Orgilinae, Macrocentrus, Orgilus, Kerorgilus. Introduction Macrocentrinae is a medium-sized subfamily containing nearly 236 species described worlwide belonging to eight genera (YU et al. 2012). The vast majority species are soli- tary or gregarious koinobiont endoparasitoids of lepidopteran larvae. Polyembryony (usually resulting in gregarious broods) frequently occurs in the genus Macrocentrus CURTIS 1833. They attack concealed microlepidopteran larvae such as Gelechiidae, Oecophoridae, Sesiidae and Tortricidae (SHAW & HUDDLESTON 1991).

Brun., 2005, LIII, No. 4, pp. 151-170 The catalogue of alien animal species registered in the Czech Republic, with data on their origin, date on the first observation, way of introduction (accidental, deliberate, spontaneous), invasive status (casual, non-invasive, post-invasive, invasive), habitat (eusynanthropic, urban, agricultural, natural), trophic re- quirements and possible influences (plant or stored-product pest, biodiversity influence). In total 595 species are listed, i.e. 1.8% of the fauna of this country; of these, 22 species of molluscs (8.8% of the lo- cal fauna), 451 spp. of arthropods (1.5%), 383 spp. of insects (1.4%), and 55 spp. of vertebrates (9.2%). Among the registered species, 248 spp. (41.8%) are confined to closed and heated spaces by their occur- rence, and 287 spp. have become naturalized (48.2%). Of these 113 spp. are considered invasive (19% of alien spp.). 65 spp. (10.9% of aliens) are pests of stored products, 84 spp. (14.1%) are parasites of important animals, 53 spp. (8.9%) are pests of plants grown in heated rooms (above all, glasshouses), 28 ssp. The origin of the naturalized alien species is mostly in North America (70; 24.4%), the Mediterranean (61; 21.3%), E Asia (44; 15.4%), Central and SW Asia (43; 15%), and S or SE Asia (30; 10.5%).

  • Fund Af Småsommerfugle Fra Danmark I 2017 (Lepidoptera) Records of Microlepidoptera from Denmark in 2017 (Lepidoptera)
Fund af småsommerfugle fra Danmark i 2017 (Lepidoptera) Records of Microlepidoptera from Denmark in 2017 (Lepidoptera) Otto Buhl, Per Falck, Ole Karsholt, Knud Larsen & Flemming Vilhelmsen Correspondance to: Småsommerfuglelisten, Zoologisk Museum, Universitetsparken 15, DK-2100 København Ø, Danmark, e-mail: [email protected] Abstract This article reports and comments on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 2017 and includes remarkable findings from previous years. The classification and nomenclature follow the Danish checklist (Karsholt & Stadel Nielsen, 2013). Five species are reported as new to the Danish fauna: 1) Apterona helicoidella (Vallot, 1827) (Psychidae): numerous cases containing small larvae were found on a railway terrain on the island of Funen; 2) Esperia sulphurella (Fabricius, 1775) (Oecophoridae): several specimens were found on the east coast of Bornholm; 3) Epermenia aequidentellus (Hofmann, 1867) (Epermeniidae): one specimen was caught in a light trap in West Jutland in late autumn 2006, 4) Gymnancyla hornigii (Lederer, 1852) (Pyralidae): two specimens were caught in light traps in Bornholm, and 5) Eudonia angustea (Curtis, 1827) (Crambidae): one specimen was caught in a light trap in East Jutland in autumn 2014. We futhermore transfer Denisia luticiliella (Erschoff, 1877) (Oecophoridae) from the ’faunistic observation list’ to the main list of Danish Lepidoptera, based on a specimen found in natural environments on the island of Anholt. The species was also found on imported timber from East Europe in 2017. The total number of Danish Psychidae is now 18, Oecophoridae 27, Epermeniidae 8, Pyralidae 81 and Crambidae 126. This results in a total of 1622 species of Microlepidoptera (families Micropterigidae–Zygaenidae + Pyralidae–Crambidae) found in Denmark.
