The organizing of the International Conference, aimed to be an opportunity for an interdisciplinary and intercultural approach open to the pedagogic, psychological, sociological and educational politics analysis within the domain of intercultural education through the same artistic-educational domains, taking into account: the Development of intercultural dimension within the culture and education domains: Education in the spirit of human rights, the reform of educational system, the protecting and enhance of the cultural patrimony/heritage, the intercultural education of youth, practical examples of applying the intercultural perspective within the aimed domains, as well as the cooperation between authorities and the civil society. The scientific presentations/lectures within the sections were in the following domains: Music, Theatre, Fine Arts, Education. The declared goal was and it is to stimulate the production of scientific knowledge in the field of artistic education and to develop the community of educational practice and research in artistic domain, as in this domain, in Romania, does not exists these kind of publications. In this way, we consider to be important the opinion of a specialist in the musical education domain, Margarita Tetelea, Associate Professor, PhD, at „Alecu Russo” State University of Balti, Republic of Moldova: “The XXI century is considered to be the century of interpretation and spiritual ascendence of the personality. In this context we also involve the role of music education, in which hermeneutics enables the opportunity to make discoveries, to understand the human mind and soul. In this connection the basic principle is to establish the dialog between past and present. Music-hermeneutical interpretation is the key to understanding the inner world and the general spiritual values of the pupil. It is also seen as the most individual and personal interpretation. Only in this way, the pupil-listener can rediscover himself in music, making a decisive role in the reconstruction of musical image. The hermeneutical interpretation of the musical image requires not only pupil’s intellectual background knowledge, but also emotional, and psychological attitude. Thus, it contributes to the creation of a beautiful soul, and as follows the creation of true aesthetic values.” The interest manifested by the specialists/professionals from our country and from Europe ( Italy, Republic of Moldavia, Greece) toward these initiatives is conclusive through the communications that were presented.     ULMETUM 2004 – DUPĂ 90 DE ANIX Zaharia COVACEF Dacă pentru cetăţile Histria şi Capidava s-au putut aniversa 90 şi, respectiv, 80 ani de cercetări arheologice neîntrerupte, pentru Ulmetum trebuie să evidenţiem reluarea de către noi a săpăturilor după 90 de ani de la încheierea lor, subliniind în acelaşi timp alegerea de către Pârvan a acestui sit. Vasile Pârvan a dorit să deschidă un şantier într-o cetate încă necercetată1, care să servească şi drept şantier-şcoală pentru tinerii arheologi. Pentru aceasta dorea un castru de graniţă fie din Oltenia, fie din Dobrogea. În urma perieghezelor făcute două astfel de centre i se păreau potrivite scopului urmărit: castrul de la Celei – Romanaţi, situat pe malul Dunării şi cel aflat în comuna Pantelimonul de Sus (astăzi com. Pantelimon), judeţul Constanţa. Ambele situri ofereau condiţii favorabile pentru a deveni şantiere-şcoală, şi – prin ştirile antice asupra lor – ridicau probleme interesante cu privire la viaţa daco-romană. Cetatea de la Celei stătea în legătură cu organizarea rurală desemnată într-o inscripţie territorium Sucidavense, iar cea de la Pantelimonul de Sus, cu o organizare analoagă, territorium Capidavense. A fost preferată cetatea de la Pantelimonul de Sus deoarece toate instrumentele şi materialul rulant necesare cercetării se aflau la Tropaeum Traiani, deci mai uşor (şi mai ieftin) de adus aici. Astfel că, după ce în primăvara anului 1911 a ridicat planul de situaţie al cetăţii şi a făcut intervenţiile necesare la autorităţile competente pentru trecerea întregului teritoriu ocupat de ruine şi a împrejurimilor lor imediate în proprietatea Muzeului Naţional de Antichităţi din Bucureşti2 (astăzi Institutul de Arheologie al Academiei), la sfârşitul lunii august a început săpăturile.

    VAMA ROMANĂ DE LA CAPIDAVA 1 AUTORI: Două inscripții cunoscute de mai multă vreme Cunoaștem însă alte câteva stationes atestate unui nou birou de vamă la vărsarea râului Axios în cetății, pe latura de N-V, deasupra temeliei, reutilizată menționează un birou vamal (statio portorii) și implicit expressis verbis pe cale epigrafică pentru Moesia Dunăre.     CASTELUL DE LA CAPUT STENARUM ŞI COHORS I FLAVIA COMMAGENORUM Cristian SCHUSTER* Fortificaţia de la Boiţa/Caput Stenarum Înainte de a părăsi Transilvania, Oltul face un unghi de aproape 90 de grade, pornind apoi spre sud, prin Carpaţii Meridionali, devenind ulterior „graniţa” dintre Oltenia şi Muntenia. Chiar în dreptul respectivului cot, pe malul drept al râului, investigaţiile arheologice au permis descoperirea resturilor unei fortificaţii romane. Acestea, aflate în punctul cunoscut sub denumirea În Rude (fig. 1), se găsesc astăzi pe teritoriul satului Boiţa (oraşul Tălmaciu, judeţul Sibiu)1. Aşa cum se ştie, cei mai mulţi dintre specialişti consideră că în acest sat trebuie localizat ceea ce Tabula Peutingeriana indică a fi Caput Stenarum2. Prezenţa urmelor romane a fost semnalată încă de la sfârşitul veacului al XIX-lea - începutul celui următor3. Primele cercetări arheologice s-au derulat în 19574, fiind continuate în 19585, 19736, 19797 şi, în cadrul practicii arheologice a studenţilor de la Facultatea de Filologie-Istorie din Sibiu, în vara anului 19818. Fortificaţiei, prin dimensiunile sale reduse – „de 46 x 47 m, fiind, deci, aproape pătrată”9, i se potriveşte mai degrabă termenul de castellum decât cel de castrum. Cu privire la momentul ridicării fortificaţiei din piatră, dar şi a „termelor cu palestrele, tabulariului vămii şi construcţiile cu caracter gospodăresc” s-a emis ipoteza că ele au fost realizate „după anii 167-169 e.n., când s-a operat reorganizarea administrativă şi militară de către Marcus Aurelius”10. Keywords: Capidava, necropolis, earrings, fingerrings, medallions, cameos. Jewelry categories made of gold, silver and bronze are discussed, discovered in Capidava graveyard tombs as well as in excavations inside the fortress or coming from fortunate discoveries. The pair of earrings with pierced work discus, having a mounted green gemstone in its centre (Pl. I, Fig. 1, 1a) stands out among the pieces in this category. The other earrings are either not completely preserved (Pl. I, Fig. 2) or unpaired: the golden earring (Pl. I, Fig. 3) and the bronze earring (Pl. I, Fig. 4). The three fingerings (two of gold and one of silver – Pl. II) are interesting both from handicraft point of view and regarding their message, as in case of the silver ring with the Ioannou monogram (Pl. II, 3). Necklaces (Pl. III, Fig. 1 and detail in Fig. 1a), little chains (Pl. III, Fig. 2) and medallions (Pl. IV) are then presented. At these latter ones, a very good analogy can be noticed for the medallion with female portrait (pl. IV, Fig. 1) at a piece discovered in Durostorum, on the limes also. Pe baza materialului publicat în reviste de specialitate sau monografii şi analizat în acest studiu, am urmărit să realizez o trecere în revistă a materialului arheologic pentru fiecare din aşezările tratate, scopul fiind o încercare de determinare a secvenţelor cronologice pentru fiecare aşezare. Au fost realizate hărţi şi tabele sugestive. Astfel, aşezarea de la Barboşi îşi începe existenţa probabilă în sec. III–II a. Chr. este foarte probabil ca sfârşitul acestei aşezări să fie legat de acţiunea guvernatorului Moesiei Tib. Plautius Silvanus Aelianus la nordul Dunăre. În cadrul aşezării de la Poiana se constată depunerile cele mai vechi îmcă din sec. V–IV a. Chr. aşezarea fiind părăsită definitiv la jumătatea sec. II p. Chr. – înc. sec. III p. Chr. Aşezările de la Brad şi Răcătău îşi încep existenţa în cu sec.

The settlements and tenements of the entire Iron Age reflect the continuity of migrations, through limited, through the sedentarization and fortification of many of the settlements, which became true centres of unions of tribes. The urbanization process started in Hallstatt will continue in Latène, in the context of development of tribal aristocracy, as a result of unions of tribes that became more and more stable. Becoming bigger and bigger, the population needed bigger settlements, fortified, whose evolution will be monitored, from the davae of the Dacians from the forming period, to the quasi-urban settlements from the second period, the one of spreading during the period Latène, in the great fortresses built now (that will continue their development during the time of Burebista). The buildings become more and more complex, there are three types of described plans: rectangular, apse like, circular, and also the tower-tenements.
