The graduation pathway is determined based on students’ choice, their academic history, faculty recommendations, and the university path they plan to pursue. The options include: 1. IICS High School Diploma and IB Diploma 2. IICS High School Diploma and IB Certificates 3. IICS High School Diploma At IICS, we encourage most of our students to be full IB Diploma candidates, and the majority of them choose this path; however, IB Certificates and High School Diploma options are equally valid as an appropriate path to further education. In order to attain the IICS High School Diploma, students must earn minimum of 26 credits throughout their 4 years of high school (grades 9-12). In Grades 11 and 12, students have the option of taking all their courses in Standard Level. Extended Essay is not a requirement for IB Certificates and/or IICS High School Diploma candidates, however reduced core requirements must be fulfilled. The IICS High School Diploma is the US equivalent of a leaving certificate and is recognized for entry directly to many university systems when combined with appropriate standardized testing (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS).
