CARMEN CONCERTS ANNOUNCES… RIVER JAM 2014! THE ELVIN BISHOP BAND, WISHBONE ASH, SAVOY BROWN, POINT BLANK- AND MORE! SATURDAY, SEPT 13, 2014 AT THE LIBERTY BANK ALTON AMPHITHEATER, ALTON, ILLINOIS!

Close out the summer season in style on Sept. 13, 2014 with great rock and at River Jam 2014! Four classic groups – the Elvin Bishop Band… Wishbone Ash… Savoy Brown and Point Blank –will all perform on the stage of the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater Saturday, Sept. 13!

Tickets are $35 for the lawn; $45 for tiered lawn area close to stage – and $60 for very limited VIP seating at the front stage area. VIP seating includes: reserved seat, VIP parking close to the stage and a limited edition concert poster. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for lawn and tiered lawn seating.

St. Louis area bands Effic and Mars Needs Guitars will open River Jam 2014 with sets starting at 2 pm…. Followed by Point Blank at 4 pm… Savoy Brown at 5:30 pm… Wishbone Ash at 7 pm… and Elvin Bishop at 9 pm.

THE RIVER JAM 2014 LINEUP Elvin Bishop got his start playing the blues on ’s Southside – learning from masters like Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy. After starting his career with the legendary Butterfield Blues Band, Bishop gained fame as a bandleader with hits like “Fooled Around and Fell In Love.” Touring with a powerhouse band in support of a brand new recording, Elvin Bishop will deliver great blues and rock to headline River Jam 2014! Wishbone Ash, one of the most influential guitar bands in the history of rock, returns to the St. Louis area to perform its best-selling album, “Live Dates,” in its entirety – as well as tracks from the band’s new recording. “Blue Horizon.” (www.wishboneash.com.)
