Chapter Business Summer is in full swing and we are halfway through
2017. Conversations continue with the Chapters in New Website Dallas, Austin and Houston on RIMS 2018 in San Antonio and the possibility of a Texas Educational August Luncheon Conference in the future. The Texas Chapters will be 2017 Event Schedule holding a social for all the Chapter members and sponsors. More details to follow. Risk Events Discussions with the National RIMS Society continue regarding RIMS 2018. Ron Walton, NuStar Energy VP of Risk Management, has graciously volunteered to join the President RIMS Annual Conference Programming Committee JESSE CASTILLEJA 2018. This group will be reviewing all of the educational
H-E-B courses submitted and making final selections of the [email protected] 210-938-4934 courses that will make the program at the conference in San Antonio. Stephanie Malish and I met with CEO of the Society, Mary Roth and VP of Events & Education,
Vice President Stuart Roth-Lyons regarding the upcoming convention in STEPHANIE MALISH NuStar Energy San Antonio. We also discussed the state of the chapter Stephanie.Malish@nustar and how the Society can help us meet the needs of our energy.com members. website has not been user friendly and requires a class just to manage and navigate. South Texas RIMS has Secretary secured a web designer to create a more user friendly site Daphne Bowers and one that will help manage meetings and events all H-E-B from one site.
