For immediate release Contact: Kris Packer [email protected] 701.298.2631 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRAFFIC FOR UPCOMING Katy Perry Concert August 23rd Fargo, North Dakota (August 21st) – The City of Fargo, Global Spectrum, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and the FARGODOME would like to make you aware of traffic routes recommended for the evening of August 23rd. Global Spectrum in cooperation with The Fargo Police Department is offering a few traffic tips for guests attending the concert and baseball game to make arrival as smooth as possible: Expect delay on 19th Avenue North due to construction. Arriving early and carpooling is recommended, parking lots open at 4:00pm with public doors opening at 6:00pm. Eastbound 19th Avenue will be closed at 18th Street. Traffic control personnel will be at this location directing traffic south to 17th Avenue. In town traffic use 10th Street North to 17th Avenue North. There will be a digital sign on 10th street guiding traffic west on 17th Avenue. Traffic control personnel will be located at University Drive and 17th Avenue North to assist with getting vehicles across University Drive. Additional parking available at Fargo North High School and John E. Carlson Coliseum located on 17th Avenue. Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will be providing shuttle service from Lot T (located on 12th Avenue North east of 18th Street) to Newman Outdoor Field starting at 5:00pm. Shuttle service will continue after the baseball game. ALL busses will be directed to off load on the west side of the FARGODOME using Albrecht Avenue. Busses will be staged along Albrecht Avenue post event to accept riders and be directed back to 19th Avenue. Limousines and other drop-offs should take place on the east side of the FARGODOME at the main entrance. Depending on space availability limousines may be asked to leave the property during the event and return to pick up passengers. Please be aware with over 25,000 guests expected in the vicinity of the FARGODOME and Newman Outdoor Field that there will be a high volume of pedestrian traffic crossing streets leading to the facilities. There is no tailgating permitted at the FARGODOME prior to the concert. FARGODOME parking lots will open at 4:00pm with the public doors opening for the concert at 6:00pm. We anticipate the FARGODOME lots to be at capacity well before the concert begins in which time we will direct guests to auxiliary parking lots in the area. We strongly encourage guests to arrive early using the recommended routes. The FARGODOME, in cooperation with the Fargo Police Department will be controlling all major intersections during the ingress and egress for the evening and appreciate your cooperation with following recommended routes into the area during the evening. ### Global Spectrum (global-spectrum.com) manages the FARGODOME as well as more than 120 other public assembly facilities around the world.
