Upper Sissiri and Dibrn^j }Uvcrs. d) DxJSAM:- Desali Circle (including Kronli area), comprises Ithun Valley , Kronli Circle was opened in 1959 but later shifted to Kunli on 15/8/59 .Kronli was then flag-post till 1964 under an Area Supdt, The Fla^-post vras also abolished v/hon the A^’ea' Supdt.was promoted as base Supdt and posted to Hunli in 1964 and subsequently to Desali when Hunli Centre was shifted to Desali. Kow with the posting of anci lixtra.Asstt, ConHissioner at Kronli in April'80, 24 villages previously under Desali Cirele are put under the Administrative control of the E.A.C. Kronli. c ) BTjULn;;^. Opened on 23/4/62 .J It comprises Taloar Valley and some parts of Kronli area. f) Opened in ici74 • Initially the Circle Hq, v;as at A'^ane in Upper Ahui Valley which we,s opened on 29/6/64 • The Circle Hq, was shifted to Anelieh in 1974 for Admini strative convenience. Asstt, ComLiissioner and that of Etalin , ^ o l i e h , Destxli and Damhulc , Circles are put under the adminstrativc control . of Circlc officers. For better administrative convenience the wholG Dibang Valley District is divided into two main sub-division ,namely,(a) M ini Scidar Sub-Division and (b) Roing Sub-division, Adminstrative control of the Anini Sadar Sub-Division rests upon the E.A.C.(Hq) and that of Roing Sub Division rests upon the Addl,Deputy Commissioner vrith Head Qtrs, at Roing under the overall adminstrative control of the Deputy Coxntiissioner with Hq.at Anini. TOPOQR.APEY; - The Dibang Valley District claims one ofTffe .most difficult terrains in Arunaohal^radesh. The vrorst parts in the entire district are the regions betvreen Ithun, Ahui as well as also Embra and DcJLon Rivtrs*The area between Kronli and foothills Jiad been badly affected by. the great earthquaJfco in 1950 and the inevitable landslides changed the very topography of this badly affected area. The hills ha.ve not yet settle down end the landslides axe common featurecs. The bamboos, grasses and high mountain ranges .which are covered with snow Almost throughout the year. The middlevalley is covered with thick tropical aad sub—tropical forests,There are ixmumorable preiptious ridgeo,gurgling rivers,deep and narrow gorges which inspire are in. minds of travellers.After this middle valley ,rain changes into broad and' .wide valley drained by Dri and Ithun rivers. Situated at the elevation of about 1500 meters, this rgion is o»ne of the most beautiful area in Arunnchal Pra.desh, MIN TBIBESi- Two main tribes, namely,Idus arid Padajns ■ (Adis) inhabit the Dibang Va.lley ai^a.
