It has been used for shoring in countless construction projects, and our costumers still prefer it because of its efficiency and easy of use. This experience, joined to the prestige of the mark, locate the ULMA Construcción’s shoring systems in a privileged place, offering reliability and security to the Construction. Adding the quality of the row materials used, the manufacture processes and the final treatment applied to our products, the results in a jobsite are guaranteed. All the data of this document are guaranteed by rigorous tests realised in our Research Laboratory. For further information (use and manipulation) contact our ULMA Construcción’s Technicians in our offices or subsidiaries, who are pleased to attend you. 4 Construcción 5 Construcción G Shoring The G Shoring system is used to support horizontal formwork when the formwork exceeds the maximum height that can be reached by the props. The system structure is basically comprised of its frame. These frame elements are assembled one on top of another until reaching the desired height, using the different frame heights in combination with the base jacks. Head The following are the basic components in the G Shoring system: • Frame G-100 Base jack • Crossbrace • Base plates • Head • Base jack Crossbrace The epoxy resin coating techniques give it an effective anti-rust protective coating. Frame G-100 Base jack Base plate 6 Construcción G Shoring Frame G-100 The Frame is the main item of this system. Its shape is composed in two parts. In one of these two parts there are some horizontal tubes acting as stair way. The Frame’s dimensions are 1 m wide in three different heights (see Components and accessories section). Crossbrace This item is composed by two identical tubes joined by a rivet allowing the turn of one with respect the other. Once mounted they acquire the form of a vane. The Crossbraces provide the exact separation between Frames. Base plate This item is placed in the starting phase of the assembly, according to the layout of the Project’s drawings. It provides a stable support to the shoring. 7 Construcción G Shoring Base jack It serves to level the structure and adjust the shoring to the required level. It is placed in the starting phase of the assembly, inserted in the Base plate, and in the final phase in the Frame without socket. UNLOADING MATERIAL Mechanical unload • All the material will arrive grouped and strapped. • The person in charge of receiving the material will check the condition of the pallets or packages. • The forklift route will be marked in order to avoid interferences with personnel. • The forklift worker will store the materials following the working instructions provided by the person in charge of storage. • In no case shall the operator in charge of storage or receiving, stay in the forklift travel route. Unload with crane • Unloading with crane the worker in charge of unloading shall not stay underneath the load. •The worker will wait until the load is practically on the ground before guiding it to the proper place. Manual unload • Loads bigger than 25 kg shall not be handled by a person. 18 Construcción G Shoring STORAGE • Frames: strapped bundles of 35 units. • Crossbraces: strapped bundles of 200 units.
