Length: 5.5 miles one-way (plus 5.5 miles return to trailhead); includes 2.1-mile connector trail. Elevation Gain/Loss: 1,495 feet/180 feet one-way Accessibility: Hikers, equestrians, and mountain bikers
Join the main Ridge Trail route from a 2.1-mile connector trail, starting in this engaging historic park. The Ridge Trail then travels south on the Sonoma Ridge Trail and East Slope Sonoma Moun- tain Ridge Trail, terminating on the Eliot Family Loop Trail. The trail is routed along lively streams, through dense forests, and across grasslands on the eastern flanks of Sonoma Mountain. At the top of the ridge, enjoy scenic views of the Valley of the Moon and the bay.
