In Nuevos Ministerios change to line number 10 (navy blue one) to Plaza de España station (4 stops). In Plaza de España change to line number 3 (yellow one) to Sol (2 stops). As we showed, Sol is only at 8 walking minutes from the hostel. Metro is the fastest and easiest way to reach the hostel from the airport. From train station Atocha to the accommodation: It’s only 13 minutes walking to the hostel through Atocha street to get to Anton Martín square. Alternatively you can take buses 6, 26 or 32 to get there. From the bus station Méndez Álvaro to the accommodation Take the metro in the bus station, line 6 (grey one) to Legazpi (2 stops). There change to line 3 (yellowone) to Sol. Meeting Point: at 23:15, at the Metro Station Guzmán el Bueno. (Or at 23:30 in MITTY if you want to go by yourself) You should look for the BEST- UPM students in order to get your drink. Come ​ ​smartly dressed, if you’re not you might not get admitted. First free drink ticket is given by BEST-UPM students, but you must show your ID-Card with picture and arrive to the pub ​BEFORE 1:00 REMARKS: MAKE SURE YOU BRING AN ID CARD (WITH PICTURE) OR YOUR PASSPORT WITH YOU. In case you miss the meeting point, here you have the instructions to reach the place. Take the metro in Sol, to Cuatro Argüelles (4 stops), then change train to Line 6 (Grey) to Guzmán el Bueno (4 stops). Remarks: Dinner is NOT included (buy your own paella!). But don’t worry if you want to party longer … Important Information: Transports during the night. The city has efficient network of night transport that work during all the night so you can come back to the hostel by bus whenever you want. You can go in `búho´, buses that end and begin their line at Cibeles ​ ​ and the frequency depends on the day of the week, around 40 minutes from Sunday to Thursday and 20 minutes in Fridays´ and Saturdays nights.     USEFUL INFORMATION FOR VISITORS AND HOW TO REACH AEMET HEADQUARTERS AEMET Headquarters: How to get there AEMET’s address is Leonardo Prieto Castro, 8 within Ciudad Universitaria (University City), not far from Madrid downtown. It is located over a small hill behind the Faculty of Chemistry and can be easily identified by the big satellite antenna. Nearest Metro (underground railway) stations are Vicente Aleixandre and Ciudad Universitaria, both in Line 6 (the grey circular line). From these stations AEMET can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Buses G, 82, and 132 have stops at a 5 minutes walking distance from AEMET. These lines depart from Moncloa Square in front of the big building of the Air Force Headquarters (“Ejercito del Aire”), Metro station Moncloa (lines 3 & 6) is also there. Bus fare can be paid to the driver directly (1,50 €. No change given for more than 5€), or using a rechargeable card which are mandatory for the Metro. Rechargeable cards may be purchased at vending machines in the airport or every Metro station for 2.50 €. Then several tickets may be charged in the card. An airport Metro ticket costs 4.50 €.
