The Procession of the Tabuleiros, heralded by pipers and fireworks, is led by the Banner of the Holy Ghost and the three Crowns of the Emperors and Kings. They are followed by the Banners and Crowns from all the parishes, and the girls carrying the trays. In the rear are the cartloads of bread, meat and wine, pulled by the symbolic sacrificial oxen, with golden horns and sashes. The girls who carry the trays have to wear long white dresses with a coloured sash across the chest. -

He has conducted research into social transformation processes for more than 25 years. Este trabalho de projeto pretende definir um conjunto de questões relacionadas com a pesquisa sobre as propostas figurativas na produção do modernismo e das vanguardas, tentando encontrar uma linha orientadora que permita ajudar a compreender a representação modernista, na obra de Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. Tendo em conta que a arte moderna se afasta da figuração completando o caminho da simplificação, divisão e distorção até à abstração, não parece fazer sentido a existência da figura nas representações modernistas, no entanto ela continua a existir através da construção de retratos. -

This arti- cle examines the history of Jazz (1958-1959), and the political ideals conveyed through this first Portuguese jazz publication1.
