Since 2013, we have been doing productions completely involving actors from the GGC - ORIGINAL ONE ACTS, THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT, FOOL FOR LOVE, LIQUID LOVE (music), ALL I WANT IS MAGIC (music), Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST, I STAND BEFORE YOU NAKED and Shakespeare's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS with a showcase and more music thrown in for extra excitement. Stage training is essential for discipline, imagination and stretching the actor. At Juilliard and Yale Drama School - this is their benchmark - the stage. Just because we're in L.A. is no reason to alter that basic and primary approach to being an actor with a long career. Being a stage trained actress from NYC, and studying first with Walt Witcover at HB Studios and then with the greats - Michael Shurtleff and Milton Katselas (a total of over 25 years studying with my mentors while working as an actress in film and television and internationally) - stage training is my benchmark as a teacher. In 2013, when I directed 13 original one-act plays, written by and starring the GGC PLAYERS, some nights 35 actors hit the stage. Very satisfying and commercially successful for the actors. We continued the momentum with THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT, a production that started as a very successful scene in the advanced scene study class of The GGC. The Owl and the Pussycat received five very good reviews - opened on April 6 and closed on May 12. It was a success for the company. Our next production, Sam Shepard's FOOL FOR LOVE, starring Lauren Plaxco, Chad Doreck and Robert May originated as a successful scene in the class also. That production, which I also had the privilege of directing, opened May 18, and returned August 24 for six weeks. It packed a powerful punch. After we successfully tackled SHAKESPEARE'S THE TEMPEST AND his THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, it was only natural that we attempt an original musical. The actors and I wrote the script and I selected the songs, collaborated on costumes and production design and off went go into DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND UP TO THE MOON in March of 2016. And now, SHAKESPEARE'S MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING - We hope this makes this a bawdy, bold and exciting project for all of us. Gloria has recurred as the principal on ABC-TV's LIFE GOES ON for ' seasons, recurred on HANGIN' WITH MR. Many times in our lives we come across people whom we are called upon to pick up at airports, train or bus terminals. We start looking for them. When we figure it out that the one we are looking for is the one coming in our direction we start moving in the direction of that person. When we come to the person we are looking for, to make sure we ask “Are you the one I am supposed to pick up”? And once it is confirmed we feel happy to know that we have picked up the right person. Our task is completed and we feel good about it. Something similar was to take place in the life of St. John the Baptist, the forerunner of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. John the Baptist’s role was to prepare the way for the Lord. He went about doing everything need- ed for the required process, so much so, that he did not spare even King Herald from living an immoral life. And the outcome of it was, he was arrested and put in prison. How would he know then, that his job is completed and that the Messiah has come since he was held in prison? To be certain he sent his disciples to Jesus with this question, “Are you the one who is to come or should we look for another?” What urgency he had, so too dedication and determination in fulfilling the task assigned to him.

OPINION PER CURIAM: Carlos Bernard Adams pled guilty to possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, 21 U.S.C.A. § 841 (West 1981 & Supp. 1996), nearly a year after he was arrested by state authorities during a controlled drug buy in July 1994. Adams was sentenced to a term of 98 months imprisonment. His attorney has filed a brief in accor- dance with Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738 (1967), raising two issues but indicating that, in his view, there are no meritorious issues for appeal. Adams has filed a pro se supplemental brief, an amended supplemental brief, and a reply brief. Finding no error after a review of the entire record, we affirm. Adams' counsel first suggests that the district court failed to com- ply adequately with Fed. R. Crim. P. 11 in accepting his guilty plea because, in summarizing the plea agreement, the prosecutor failed to state that Adams' cooperation had to be substantial to earn a motion for a departure.
