Als Gegenleistung verspricht Wallace Jack einen Datenchip, mit dem man beweisen kann, dass die Audioaufzeichnungen gefälscht sind. When we come to the person we are looking for, to make sure we ask “Are you the one I am supposed to pick up”? And once it is confirmed we feel happy to know that we have picked up the right person. Our task is completed and we feel good about it. Something similar was to take place in the life of St. John the Baptist, the forerunner of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. John the Baptist’s role was to prepare the way for the Lord. He went about doing everything need- ed for the required process, so much so, that he did not spare even King Herald from living an immoral life. And the outcome of it was, he was arrested and put in prison. How would he know then, that his job is completed and that the Messiah has come since he was held in prison? To be certain he sent his disciples to Jesus with this question, “Are you the one who is to come or should we look for another?” What urgency he had, so too dedication and determination in fulfilling the task assigned to him.

HAROLD PINTER’S BIO Harold Pinter, 2005 Nobel Laureate for Literature (October 10, 1930 - December 24, 2008), was born in London’s working-class Hackney district to Hyman and Frances Pinter, Jewish Eastern Europeans who had immigrated to the United Kingdom from Portugal. Pinter has said that his encounter with anti-Semitism while growing up in England was the fuse that ignited the organic process leading him to becoming a playwright. As his Nobel Prize citation attests, Pinter developed into the greatest En- glish dramatist of the post-World War II era.
