Douzelage Association in Chojna – activities since Bad Koetzting 1. A group of students and a leader participated in Erasmus+ project ‘Hobby education’, Agros, Cyprus. 2. Delegation from Sherborne took part in Days of European Integration in Chojna. 3. Two students and two teachers went to Holstebro for a project meeting ‘Non – formal learning – the Danish model. 4. Europe for citizens project "Even Us The Little Ones Count A Lot" (EULOCAL) – 4 members of Douzelage Association in Chojna took part in a project meeting in Marsaskala. 5. Three students of a secondary school in Chojna and a teacher went to Sherborne to talk about education and school systems in the UK and Poland. 6. Erasmus+ project "Understanding Cultural Matters through the Music Sector" – 15 students and 3 leaders participated in a youth exchange in Malta. 7. Erasmus+ project ‘Struggle against violent extremism’ – three teachers from a secondary school in Chojna participated in a project meeting in Konya, Turkey. 8. Europe for citizens project "Even Us The Little Ones Count A Lot" (EULOCAL) – 4 members of Douzelage Association in Chojna took part in a project meeting in Velletri, Italy. 9. 34 students and teachers started apprenticeships in Bilom Construction Ltd/Malta; JDJ Operations Ltd/Malta; Illusions Ltd/Malta; The Bakehouse B&B/Anglia; The Eastbury(Sherborne) Ltd/Anglia; The Grange at Oborne/Anglia; Remicro Kft./Węgry; Szárnyas Kft/Węgry and Cloud Magaged Data S.A./ Luksemburg. Douzelage Association in Chojna – future activities and projects. Europe for citizens project "Even Us The Little Ones Count A Lot" (EULOCAL) – representatives of Douzelage Association in Chojna will participate in project meetings in Bad Koetzting and Koszeg and will organize an event in Chojna. Erasmus+ project ‘Struggle against violent extremism’ – secondary school students, teachers and members of Douzelage Association in Chojna will take part in youth exchange in Koszeg and a teachers’ meeting in Sweden. Europe for citizens project ‘Memory work,democratic engagement and civic participation for the future of Europe’ – 5 students and 2 leaders will take part in a seminar in Houffalize. Douzelage Association in Chojna submitted applications for two Erasmus+ youth projects: ‘Internet – opportunities and threats’ and ‘Voluntary work as a stress remedy’. Poz. 35 UCHWAŁA NR XXV/187/2020 RADY MIEJSKIEJ W CHOJNIE z dnia 26 listopada 2020 r. w sprawie przeprowadzenia konsultacji z mieszkańcami Gminy Chojna w przedmiocie zmiany granic administracyjnych miasta Chojna Na podstawie art. 4b ust. 1 pkt 1 w zw. z art. 4a ust. 2 pkt 1, art. 5 ust. 1, ust. 2 ustawy z dnia 8 marca 1990 r. o samorządzie gminnym (Dz. U z 2020 r., poz. 713, poz.1378), uchwala się, co następuje: § 1. 1. Postanawia się przeprowadzić konsultacje z mieszkańcami Gminy Chojna, z ograniczeniem do mieszkańców miasta Chojna, mieszkańców sołectwa Mętno i mieszkańców sołectwa Czartoryja, w celu przeprowadzenia zmiany granic administracyjnych miasta Chojna, polegającej na włączeniu części obszaru sołectwa Mętno i sołectwa Czartoryja. 2. Obszar, o którym mowa w ust. 1 obejmuje: 1) działki należące do sołectwa Mętno, w skład którego wchodzi część obrębu geodezyjnego Wilkoszyce – zgodnie z mapą stanowiącą załącznik nr 1 do uchwały; 2) działki należące do sołectwa Czartoryja, w skład którego wchodzi część obrębu geodezyjnego Barnkowo- zgodnie z mapą stanowiącą załącznik nr 2 do uchwały. § 2. 1. Konsultacje polegać będą na zasięgnięciu opinii, o których mowa w § 1, poprzez oddanie głosu na ankiecie konsultacyjnej, według wzoru stanowiącego załącznik nr 3 do niniejszej uchwały. 2. Wyrażenie opinii polegać będzie na umieszczeniu w odpowiedniej rubryce: „Jestem za”, „Jestem przeciw”, „Wstrzymuję się”, znaku ,,X” i złożeniu podpisu na ankiecie konsultacyjnej. 3. W przedmiocie konsultowanej sprawy ustala się następującej treści pytania: 1) „Czy jest Pani/Pan za zmianą granic miasta Chojna polegającą na włączeniu do miasta Chojna - części obszaru sołectwa Mętno, w skład której wchodzi część obrębu geodezyjnego Wilkoszyce?” oraz 2) „Czy jest Pani/Pan za zmianą granic miasta Chojna polegającą na włączeniu do miasta Chojna - części obszaru sołectwa Czartoryja, w skład której wchodzi część obrębu geodezyjnego Barnkowo?” § 3.

The faults of the La Roche Syncline and the overturned Taverneux Anticline. Léon Dejonghe Royal Institute of Natural Sciences, Geological Survey of Belgium, 13 rue Jenner, B-1000 Bruxelles. The area included in the Amberloup - La Roche-en-Ardenne - Houffalize sector is located in the province of Luxembourg and belongs geographically to the Central Ardenne. The rocks are of Lower Devonian age. On the regional level, the region integrates southeast of the axial zone of the Ardenne Anticlinorium, northwest of the Neufchâteau Synclinorium. Geological mapping at the scale of 1 : 10 000 has identified numerous faults ignored on old geological maps at a scale of 1 : 40 000. The greater part of map-sheet Houffalize is modeled by the Houffalize Syncline, which extends into the lower third of map-sheet Wibrin. The detailed surveys of its northern flank and the transition zone to the La Roche Syncline in the northwest show that the intermediate structure does not correspond to a simple anticline known in the literature as Taverneux Anticline. During the Variscan orogeny, an anticline was effectively formed, then it overturned north and, finally, was segmented by longitudinal faults which, initially, were reverse faults, but some were reactivated as normal faults during a phase of relaxation.
