APOLOGIESt:None. 1. 1IINUTES As this meeting was solely concerned dith the election of officials and Executive Committee, the Minutes of the previous meeting of the N.C. were not taken. 2. ELECTIONS Hon.. President - Mr David Steel, H.P. remained in the position of Hn.President. Vice-Presidents - There were five nominations for the three vacancies: Ben 1hitaker, N.P., Humphry Berkeley1 The right Hon. Jeremy Thorpe,PCpbP, Sir Dingle Foot, MP, Albie Sachs. he first three names were declared elected. Sponsors - There were four nominations: Thomas Kellock QC, Angus Wilson, Sir Dingle Foot MP, Lord Willis. The first three names were declared elected. Officers Chairman - in co ne 'tion with this position the meeting adopted a motion proposed by Mr Ronald Segal, seconded by Felicity Bolton, that this position be left unfilled until the next meeting of the National Committee; the Executive Committee in the meantime to consider the best name to be put forward to the National Committee as its recommendation for Chairman. Vice-Chairman - As 11r Vella Pillay did not wish to stl.md for election as an officer, Mr John Ennals was nominated and elected as Vice-Chairman. Hon- Secretary - Mr S. Abdul was re-elected as Hon. Secretary. Exeb. Secretary - The National Committee ondorced the change in title from Administrative Secretary. Mrs E. Be Keyser was re-elected. Honi Treasurer - ir Tony O'Dowd was proposed and re-elected as Hon. Treasurer. Executive Committee 1967/68 The 'following names were niminated for election. The first six names were declared elected to the new Executive: Douglas Marchant, Vella Pillay, Anne Daraborough, Ros Ainslie, Dorothy fobinson, Raymond Runene, Caroline de Crespigny, Peter Hellyer, Nancy "hite, Bruce Page. 3. INCREASED ] BERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION A resolution was put forward by the Organising Secretary that the membership subscription be increased to El p.a., this amount to include an automatic subscription to AA News. It was agreed that this should take effect immediately. 4.
