INTRODUCTION The forests of the Corredor and Montnegre massifs, intensely exploited since the Middle Ages, were subjected to severe pressure in the eighteen hundreds. Among the causes for this intensification in the exploitation of forest resources were the increasing demand for timber for ship building, fuel consumption in glass kilns and other industrial activities, and the extension of the railway network in the north of the Maresme county, which revaluated forest resources in the zone by facilitating their extraction. Recent studies have identified the profound transformations in the landscape occurring in the Montnegre-Corredor zone in the 19th century. However, a large part of academic effort has been centred on long-term landscape evolution, relegating to a secondary plane the characterisation of the exploitations themselves and the specification of their economic importance. Our work places the emphasis on forest use, precisely in a crucial period for forest development: the middle years of the eighteen hundreds. The main sources for this work are the territorial tax statistics (amillaramientos) corresponding to 1852 and 1862, as well as the fiscal documentation connected with them: assessment cards, claim forms for damages due to the exceeding of quotas, and investigation files. Limonium spp. Limonium is the latin name of a genus of plants named Sea-Lavanders or Statice in English. They belong to the famíly Plumbaginaceae, being small and generally linked to salty environments (salty marshes, inland and coastal salty soils and first coastal line). They consist morfologically on a basal rosette of leafs, usually fleshy, and long floral stems, with colors that change from white to violet through pink. The essence of genus Limonium defines the philosophy of our company: • Diversity: genus Limonium has more than 100 species in the Iberian Peninsula • Adaptation to local conditions: there is a different Limonium in almost every different cliff or salty marsh. • Adaptation to difficult conditions: Limonium plants always grow in difficult environments, in places that are harsh for other species. • Humility: Limonium are always humble plants, that know their limitations and that only flower when conditions are proper.

Diputació de Barcelona [email protected] RESUM Des de l’any 1999 l’Oficina de Patrimoni Cultural de la Diputació de Barcelona desenvolupa el programa de Mapes del Patrimoni Cultural per als municipis de la província de Barcelona que ho sol·liciten. La finalitat és la recollida exhaustiva de dades sobre el patrimoni cultural i natural d’un municipi i la seva valoració. Actualment hi ha 162 municipis que tenen el mapa de patrimoni cultural realitzat i 25 en procés de realització. Del total de 30 municipis de la comarca del Maresme, 13 tenen el mapa acabat i 3 es troben en procés de realització, el que representa un 53%. Una part molt important del patrimoni documentat són les masies i altres elements relacionats amb aquest tipus d’hàbitat. En aquesta comunicació volem donar a conèixer les principals característiques d’aquest patrimoni cultural i una anàlisi del seu impacte, a més de transmetre una eina de coneixement i d’inventari de conjunts d’aquest patrimoni.     © Cristina Chaves© Passejades guiades 2020 Descobreix l’encant del Montnegre i el Corredor Itineraris per conèixer millor el parc Les vint-i-vuit passejades que s’han programat per al 2020 al Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor tenen per objecte ajudar a conèixer millor el patrimoni natural i cultural del parc i gaudir del seu entorn. Aquest cicle de sortides es duu a terme, bàsicament en cap de setmana (dissabtes o diumenges), als municipis de l’àmbit del parc: Arenys de Munt, Dosrius, Fogars de la Selva, Llinars del Vallès, Mataró, Palafolls, Pineda de Mar, Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, Sant Celoni, Sant Iscle de Vallalta, Tordera, Vallgorguina i Vilalba Sasserra. Tots els itineraris, d’una durada d’entre 3 i 4 hores i de dificultat baixa o mitjana, estan conduïts per un expert coneixedor del territori que ajudarà els participants a interpretar i comprendre els paisatges i a descobrir racons amagats del parc i els seus municipis. Aquest programa de passejades pel Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor ha estat elaborat per l’Escola de Natura del Corredor a l’empara d’un contracte de serveis signat amb la Diputació de Barcelona. 2 Informació general Preu per sortida: menors de 6 anys, gratuït; de 6 a 12 anys i majors de 65 anys, 2 euros; usuaris que acreditin la seva condició de socis del Cercle de Voluntaris dels Parcs Naturals, 2 euros; usuaris que acreditin la seva condició de membres de famílies nombroses, 2 euros; majors de 12 anys i menors de 65 anys, 3 euros.
