Its purpose is to protect and promote freedoms and human rights in Albania. AHRG endeavours to promote human rights in many ways including publishing reports regarding the human rights situation in the country. (AHRG has paid special attention to the situation of convicts and detainees on the premises where they serve.) These reports deal with statistics and prison conditions, and focus at the same time on specific
