Undergraduate courses taught include General Psychology. 2007-2009 NIMH Post-doctoral Research Fellowship Medical University of South Carolina National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center Primary research activities included analyzing data and preparing manuscripts from a federally funded grant examining the construct of maternal support following a child's disclosure of sexual abuse. Co-investigator on a study examining risk factors for adult sexual assault. Assisted in writing federal and state grant applications. Provided treatment to child, adolescent, and adult victims of trauma. Assisted in supervising pre-doctoral trainees in assessment and treatment. Co-instructor for a class of first year medical students in learning and practicing clinical interviewing skills. 2009 Adjunct Instructor College of Charleston G.K. Utilized multimedia presentations and interactive class activities. 2006-2007 Clinical Psychology Predoctoral Internship Charleston Consortium Psychology Internship Training Program Medical University of South Carolina (APA Accredited) Participated in three clinical rotations, including the National Crime Victims Center, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and Pediatric Psychology. Responsibilities included: assessment and treatment of victims of violent crime, abuse, and other traumatic events; conducting psychoeducational, autism, and psychological evaluations; providing therapeutic services to children with chronic illnesses and their family members; and conducting forensic evaluations on youth adjudicated by the Family Court System.
