THE CEAS the council of european aerospace societies (ceas) is an International MANAGEMENT non-Profit asso ciation, with the aim to develop a framework within which BOARD the major aerospace societies in europe can work together. It presently comprises thirteen full Member socie ties: 3af (france), aIae (spain), aIdaa (Italy), aaar (romania), czaes (czech republic), dGlr It Is structured as follows : (Germany), ftf (sweden), haes (Greece), nVvl (netherlands), Psaa (Poland), raes (united Kingdom), sVfw (switzerland), tsaGI (russia); • General functions: President, director and six corporate Members: esa, easa, eurocontrol, laeta, VKI General, finance, external relations & and euroaVIa.. Publications, awards and Membership. following its establishment as a legal entity conferred under Belgium law, this association began its operations on January 1 st , 2007. • two technical Branches: Its basic mission is to add value at a european level to the wide range of – aeronautics Branch services provided by the constituent Member societies, allowing for – space Branch greater dialogue between the latter and the european institutions, governments, aerospace and defence industries and academia. each of these two Branches, composed of the ceas is governed by a Board of trustees, with representatives of specialized technical committees, is placed each of the Member societies. under the authority of a dedicated chairman.
