USDA Loan Guarantee- The USDA loan guarantee was put into place during the establishment of the USDA Loan Agreement. The Security Agreement originally stated that if Toiyabe was to fall into default, all Bishop Paiute Tribal Assets could be available to ensure the USDA Loan was paid off. The BPTC has been working with USDA to amend this agreement to secure a portion of Tribal Assists to use for future economic development and growth. USDA is at the table and will- ing to amend this agreement and we are doing so with legal counsel at this time. RAMAH Settlement Allocation ($669,091.71)- As stated during the September General Council Meeting, the Tribe is in the process of identifying areas of need for additional funding to support our tribal programs. Once we have a final spreadsheet of where these allocations had been determined are needed, we will be posing the list in an upcoming newsletter for community comments before it will be finalized and distributed.
