Length: 27.6 miles 5 Chisholm Trail Parkway 6 Project Partners 7 The Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30 Chisholm Trail Parkway Interstate 30 9 Chisholm Trail Parkway Interstate 30 10 Chisholm Trail Parkway Interstate 30 11 Chisholm Trail Parkway Interstate 30 • Eastbound I-30 motorists will be able to exit Montgomery Street, University Drive, Rosedale Street, Forest Park Boulevard and northbound Summit Avenue • Montgomery Street will be extended to intersect with the north- and southbound CTP access ramp • Vickery Boulevard will become a one way westbound from east of the Trinity River to its tie- in to the existing streets near Montgomery 12 Chisholm Trail Parkway Current work and traffic impacts Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30 • Crews have begun working on the reconstruction of Interstate 30 – I-30 will be reconstructed up to 160 feet south of its current location – Detours have been placed along westbound I-30 to accommodate work – Alternate westbound I-30 lanes between Summit Avenue and University Drive closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, through Saturday, June 30. – Speed limit reduced to 55 mph 14 Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30 • Dedicated right turn lane from eastbound Vickery Boulevard to southbound University Drive closed – Motorists turn left, right or keep straight from one lane • Permanent closure of the right turn lane from northbound University Drive to eastbound Vickery Boulevard – Beginning May 30 • Demolition of Rosedale-Lovell bridge this summer – Traffic will be rerouted onto University Drive 15 Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30 • Work on CTP bridge structure over the Trinity River this summer – Trails will be open during their normal business hours • Southbound Rogers Road has temporarily reopened to allow for the Crowne Plaza Invitational golf tournament at the Colonial Country Club – Southbound will close on May 28 16 Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30 • Permanent closure of 15th Avenue at FWWR U-turn • Long-term closure of W.     Chisholm Trail Parkway The Chisholm Trail Parkway (formerly Southwest Parkway) is a 27.6-mile toll road that will extend from downtown Fort Worth south to Cleburne. More than 40 years in the making, the project is collaboration between the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), Tarrant and Johnson counties, the cities of Fort Worth, Burleson and Cleburne, Fort Worth and Western Railroad (FWWR) and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). Originally defined as two distinct transportation projects, the Southwest Parkway and Chisholm Trail were combined to form the Southwest Parkway/Chisholm Trail project in October 2008. On May 12, 2011, Gov. Rick Perry signed HB 367 changing the name of the Southwest Parkway/Chisholm Trail corridor solely to Chisholm Trail Parkway. The bill took effect on Sept. 1, 2011. The northern section of CTP will be an 8.7 mile, six-lane tollway that stretches from I-30 to southwest Fort Worth. The NTTA, TxDOT and the City of Fort Worth, in conjunction with a Citizens Advisory Group, cooperatively developed a Corridor Master Plan to guide the design development of the corridor with respect to aesthetic features. The NTTA developed the final design plans for part of the southern extension of CTP from Altamesa Boulevard to FM 1187. For the southernmost 13 mile section, the NTTA selected a Design/Builder for Section 6, which stretches from FM 1187 to U.S. 67 in Cleburne. Once completed, the CTP will provide a continuous route from Fort Worth to Cleburne connecting southwest Tarrant and northwest Johnson counties.

This report is divided into three sections, which correspond to the requirements of the legislation: . Section 1. “lists the amount of debt service on bonds issued for each toll project in this state;” . Section 2. “identifies, based on criteria provided by the Texas Transportation Commission, bonds that would be appropriate for accelerated or complete lump-sum payment of debt service;” . Section 3. “proposes a plan to eliminate all toll roads in this state, except for tolls on roads constructed, operated, or maintained only with proceeds from the issuance of bonds by a toll project entity other than the department, by methods including: – “the accelerated or complete lump-sum payment of debt service on bonds identified under Subdivision (1); or – “requiring, as a condition on receipt of state financial assistance, a commitment by a toll project entity to eliminate toll collection on a project for which the financial assistance is provided.” The report includes a review of the 53 toll roads and 28 financial tolling systems in the state, excluding international bridges.
