• Eastbound I-30 motorists will be able to exit Montgomery Street, University Drive, Rosedale Street, Forest Park Boulevard and northbound Summit Avenue • Montgomery Street will be extended to intersect with the north- and southbound CTP access ramp • Vickery Boulevard will become a one way westbound from east of the Trinity River to its tie- in to the existing streets near Montgomery

Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30

• Crews have begun working on the reconstruction of Interstate 30 – I-30 will be reconstructed up to 160 feet south of its current location – Detours have been placed along westbound I-30 to accommodate work – Alternate westbound I-30 lanes between Summit Avenue and University Drive closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, through Saturday, June 30. – Speed limit reduced to 55 mph

• Dedicated right turn lane from eastbound Vickery Boulevard to southbound University Drive closed – Motorists turn left, right or keep straight from one lane

• Permanent closure of the right turn lane from northbound University Drive to eastbound Vickery Boulevard – Beginning May 30

• Demolition of Rosedale-Lovell bridge this summer – Traffic will be rerouted onto University Drive

Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30

• Work on CTP bridge structure over the Trinity River this summer – Trails will be open during their normal business hours

• Southbound Rogers Road has temporarily reopened to allow for the Crowne Plaza Invitational golf tournament at the Colonial Country Club – Southbound will close on May 28

16 Chisholm Trail Parkway at Interstate 30

• Permanent closure of 15th Avenue at FWWR U-turn

• Long-term closure of W. Vickery Blvd. between Forest Park and Summit (Re-open in late 2012)

• Closure of Old University Drive from I-30 to Rosedale (Re-open in late 2013)

17 Chisholm Trail at Hulen Street/ UPRR Davidson Yard

• New Hulen Street bridge is being constructed just east of the current bridge – Up to 10 feet higher – Pedestrian walkway on the northbound side of the bridge – Increased capacity • 3 lanes of traffic in each direction – Anticipated opening date: late 2012 • Traffic will remain reduced to one lane in each direction until mid-2013

18 Chisholm Trail Parkway at Hulen Street/UPRR Davidson Yard

• Dedicated right turn lane from northbound Hulen Street to Vickery Boulevard opened

• Additional lane added on connection from Vickery Boulevard to northbound Hulen Street

• Work continues on bridge beam and deck construction in the UPRR Davidson Yard

• Crews have placed asphalt for the north and south approaches of the new Hulen Street bridge

19 Current Traffic Impacts

• Hulen Street bridge maintains one lane of traffic in each direction – Three lanes at intersection of Hulen Street and Vickery Boulevard • Two through lanes and one dedicated right turn lane from Hulen Street to Vickery Boulevard on north side of bridge

20 What to expect this fall

• Narrow lanes and shoulders on east- and westbound I-30 • Lane reductions at University Drive and Vickery Boulevard • Narrow lanes and short term night closures on University Drive • On-ramp from Vickery Boulevard to eastbound I-30 closed – Traffic detoured via Rosedale Street to Forest Park Boulevard

21 What to expect this fall

• Westbound Rosedale Street closed between University and Montgomery – Traffic will need to exit to University Drive

• Eastbound Rosedale Street reduced to one lane between Montgomery and University
