Feeding on the Truth Thursday Monday How did the crowd receive Jesus’ teaching? (Mark 12:37) Read Mark 12:35-37. If this passage and Psalm 110 were the only passages of Scripture you had, what truths about Jesus could you How did Herod receive John the Baptist’s teaching (Mark 6:20)? glean? Presumably, what did some from this crowd shout out 3 days later (Mark 15:13-15)? What did Herod do with John the Baptist (Mark 6:27)? In what ways does your life need to conform to the authority of this passage? How do you keep from only “hearing Jesus gladly” (Ezekiel 33:31-32; James 1:22; Matt. 7:24-27)
Tuesday Psalm 110:1-2. Jesus’ explanation of this Psalm must have made a deep impression on the disciples because this is the Psalm they quoted more than any other.
