• All vaccinated travellers will benefit from relaxed travel requirements and entry restrictions.

• Unvaccinated tourists will still need to comply with all travel requirements, entry restrictions, and quarantine protocols, as mandated by the Cayman Islands Government.

BELOW IS A SUMMARY OF EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE PLANNING YOUR VISIT TO THE BEAUTIFUL CAYMAN ISLANDS.

PHASES 2 TO 5 OF THE 'CAYMAN REOPENING PLAN', WILL START ON 9 AUGUST 2021.

Each Phase will carry a further relaxation of travel requirements and arrival protocols and requirements.

The Cayman Islands plans to reopen its borders to vaccinated T H E travellers, with no quarantine required, by mid-November, C A Y M A N in time for the upcoming holiday season, which we are all looking forward to! R E O P E N I N G T I M E L I N E The Cayman Islands has had no community transmission of the COVID19 virus since July 2020, so we are essentially COVID free. The Cayman Islands plans to reopen as the safest holiday destination in the Caribbean.

9 AUGUST 2021 Inbound travel remains limited to vaccinated Caymanian residents and Property Owners, with a 5-day quarantine upon arrival. Travellers must apply to Travel Cayman and obtain a 'Certificate to Travel' before their departure on a Repatriation P H A S E Flight on either or . A Negative PCR Test Result is required, taken less than 72 hours before departure, and proof of vaccinations is required. A GPS monitoring device, secured to the wrist, is given to each 2 passenger on arrival into . A PCR test on arrival will no longer be required for all vaccinated travellers.

9 SEPTEMBER 2021 Owen Roberts International Airport, in Grand Cayman, will reopen to vaccinated travellers, with a 5-day self-quarantine P H A S E protocol in effect. Commercial flights will be limited by the Cayman Islands Airport Authority (CIAA). Cruise ships are still banned from the Cayman Islands, so travellers will only be able 3 to fly into Grand Cayman at this time.

14 OCTOBER 2021 The 5-day self-quarantine protocol will no longer be required for all vaccinated travellers arriving in Grand Cayman. However, vaccinated travellers will still be required to P H A S E apply to Travel Cayman- www.travelcayman.gov.ky to gain authorization to travel to the Cayman Islands 4 and confirm their vaccination status with Travel Cayman.

18 NOVEMBER 2021 Unvaccinated children aged 11 and under will be permitted entry P H A S E to the Cayman Islands if travelling with vaccinated adults. There will be no quarantine requirements for unvaccinated children as long as they remain with vaccinated parents. 5 However, periodic PCR testing may be required. JANUARY 2022 FULLY RE-OPEN The Cayman Islands Government will evaluate each Phase, and if all goes well and according to plan, they will announce a full reopening of the border for all incoming travellers.

CURRENT TRAVEL CONDITIONS FLIGHTS IN & OUT OF CAYMAN AS OF 8 JULY, 2021 Private aircraft and repatriation flights operated by Cayman Airways and British Airways.Additional flights are in the planning stage and will be added upon reopening.

ELIGIBLE TRAVELLERS Inbound flights are available for: Caymanians, Permanent Residents, Work Permit Holders and their families, Property Owners, persons approved via Global Citizen and other visitors approved via Travel Cayman.
