Each participant will be issued with a card containing his/her Name, D.O.B.., Area / County and the participant’s unique Community Games number. Also County will also need Athletic & Swimming Managers to look after the Athletes& Swimmers during the National Finals. Managers must be Garda Vetted National will not accept entries unless there are Managers The Fee for Non Resident Managers and Non Resident Competitors is €30.00 Names can be given to me at County Finals If your competitors qualifies to represent Galway at the County Finals I will need to know by Friday 5th June, if they are travelling to National Finals. IT IS HOPED THAT YOU COMPETE IN THE TRUE SPIRIT OF THE COMMUNITY GAMES MOVEMENT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY GAMES PLEDGE. I WOULD URGE THAT YOU READ THE PLEDGE AND REMEMBER THE WORDS AS YOU COMPETE, MORE THAN THAT WE WISH YOU A FUN DAY AND THE BEST OF LUCK IN ALL YOUR EVENTS. CONNAUGHT FINALS THIS YEAR THE CONNAUGHT FINALS ARE HOSTED BY SLIGO AND THEY WILL TAKE PLACE IN ON SATURDAY /SUNDAY 4TH & 5 TH JULY 2015 AS A COUNTY COMMITTEE WE HAVE WORKED VERY HARD TO MAKE TODAY POSSIBLE AND WE THANK ALL THE AREAS WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED PERSONNEL TO ASSIST US IN MANY OF THE TASKS NECESSARY TO ORGANISE THE FINALS. WE ASK THAT ALL THESE PEOPLE BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, ABUSE OR BAD LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Built of exposed coursed rubble with cut stone dressings in 1832.Set back from road behind railings with an adjoining graveyard at rear. Building now derelict. 2 Bagot Tomb DURROW Box tomb with carved recumbent crusader effigy, side and end panels with inscriptions and 2 169710 271820 heraldic motifs, set above large mausoleum consisting of tumulus. Erected by John Lloyd Bagot of Ballmoe c1830 . Set within an enclosed ancient graveyard with numerous headstones. 5 Quinns Corn and Tuck CONAGHER Small mill complex consisting of two-bay two-storey former corn and tuck mill and ancillary 4 143300 264950 Mill structures, c. 1825. Erected on river bank. In derelict condition, internal fittings removed and now used for farm storage. 6 St Patrick's Church GARRAFRAUNS Single-cell five bay Roman Catholic church with rendered facade and cut-stone dressings to 4 145420 265170 pointed opes,buttresses and quoins, c. 1870. The interior has an open truss roof, balcony and stained glass windows. Renovated c. 1990. Set within small enclosed site that contains belfry serving as shelter for statue in grounds. 7 St. Mary's Church / KILTIVNA Single-cell Roman Catholic church with a seven bay side elevation, rendered facade, round 5 155140 267390 Church of Christ the headed opes and open truss roof, c. 1880. Renovated c. 1990. Set on elevated site.
