ADORATION on Monday 9am to 10am and 10.30am to 11.30am DUNMORE COMMUNITY SCHOOL are joining with the parish in celebrating their school Mass at 10am on Wednesday 23rd October. DUNMORE FOROIGE Thank you to all who supported the churchgate collection last weekend for Foroige. A total of €716.80 was collected. The club thanks everyone for their generosity. ANNUAL CAROL SERVICE This year's Parish Carol Service takes place in the Church of Our Lady and St Nicholas on Sunday, December 15th. All Welcome to 'Prepare the Way of the Lord '...in joyful song. DUNMORE MUSICAL SOCIETY is 25 Years old in 2020! We celebrate with a very special performance of high octane Dance numbers and moving Solo performances from all of our previous musicals, all backed by the rich harmonies of the Dunmore Choir. Join us. You will get all the help and motivation you need to lose weight and feel great! Wednesday 8pm in Walsh's High street. A SPECIAL MASS FOR THE SICK will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy on Tuesday 22nd October at 7.30pm. Any sick person who is present and those feeling the burden of their years may receive the anointing of the sick. If you know someone who is sick, perhaps you would like to attend this Mass and pray for them or perhaps you might offer them a lift and bring them along. Whether it be physical or mental illness, drug or alcohol abuse and addiction of any kind, you are invited to come and to pray together with Fr Paddy for yourself or for your loved ones who may be suffering in any way. The names of the people who are sick and wish to be prayed for can be placed in the petition box which is located at the Baptismal Font in our church. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served after Mass in the Convent house. INVITATION: OFFICIAL OPENING OF PERSPECTIVE FIRST MENTAL HEALTH PEER SUPPORT CENTRE in Mayo, will take place at its premises at Mount St, Claremorris on Thursday 24th October at 8pm. The aim of the programme is to train leaders to work with young people in their parish as they deepen their faith. The programme is open to young people aged between 18 and 30 years and involves 9 weekends over a 2-year period, commencing in January 2020. Participants will be awarded a certificate in Youth Ministry from Queen’s University, Belfast upon completion of the course. Built of exposed coursed rubble with cut stone dressings in 1832.Set back from road behind railings with an adjoining graveyard at rear. Building now derelict. 2 Bagot Tomb DURROW Box tomb with carved recumbent crusader effigy, side and end panels with inscriptions and 2 169710 271820 heraldic motifs, set above large mausoleum consisting of tumulus. Erected by John Lloyd Bagot of Ballmoe c1830 . Set within an enclosed ancient graveyard with numerous headstones. 5 Quinns Corn and Tuck CONAGHER Small mill complex consisting of two-bay two-storey former corn and tuck mill and ancillary 4 143300 264950 Mill structures, c. 1825. Erected on river bank. In derelict condition, internal fittings removed and now used for farm storage. 6 St Patrick's Church GARRAFRAUNS Single-cell five bay Roman Catholic church with rendered facade and cut-stone dressings to 4 145420 265170 pointed opes,buttresses and quoins, c. 1870. The interior has an open truss roof, balcony and stained glass windows. Renovated c. 1990. Set within small enclosed site that contains belfry serving as shelter for statue in grounds. 7 St. Mary's Church / KILTIVNA Single-cell Roman Catholic church with a seven bay side elevation, rendered facade, round 5 155140 267390 Church of Christ the headed opes and open truss roof, c. 1880. Renovated c. 1990. Set on elevated site.
