All are welcome. Rosary in Lackagh Cemeteries during lent: Each Sunday during Lent the Rosary will be recited in Lackagh Cemeteries after the 11.30am Mass. This Sunday 10th April it will take place in the New Cemetery, next Sunday 17th April in the Old Cemetery (the venue is alternating each week). Rosary will be recited in Cregg Cemetery every Sunday during Lent at 3pm. th Parish Pastoral Team Meeting: on Monday night (11 April) at 8:00pm in the small Chapel. Latin Mass – Old Rite: The first monthly Traditional Mass will take place at Our Lady’s Shrine, Knock THIS Sunday 10th April at 6pm. The celebrant will be Fr John Loftus , Chaplain to the Connacht Chapter, Latin Mass Society of Ireland. The Mass will be said four months of the year by the Institute of Christ the King and by the Latin Mass Society of Ireland during the other eight months. First Confessions: Congratulations to all the children who received First Penance during the week. Our gratitude to their Teachers and their schools who prepare them so well to receive the Sacrament. Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes: The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place this year from August 9th to 16th, 2011. Archbishop Michael Neary will lead the pilgrimage. Des had Confessions for the Primary schools in Lackagh Parish on Wednesday last and Claregalway Parish on Friday last. Thanks to Fr. To All Eucharistic Ministers : A review is being carried out to enrol new members and to facilitate existing members who may be having difficulty with the existing rota. Contact Sonny – 087 27 67 164. Therapy group for parents who have lost a child to suicide. The death of a child by suicide leaves a void that can never be filled. Each parent grieves the loss in their own unique way. Shock, feelings of helplessness, a sense of injustice, guilt and blame tend to complicate the healing process for those left behind. This group will offer a safe and confidential place for you to share your loss with other parents who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. The group will meet for eight weeks. Built of exposed coursed rubble with cut stone dressings in 1832.Set back from road behind railings with an adjoining graveyard at rear. Building now derelict. 2 Bagot Tomb DURROW Box tomb with carved recumbent crusader effigy, side and end panels with inscriptions and 2 169710 271820 heraldic motifs, set above large mausoleum consisting of tumulus. Erected by John Lloyd Bagot of Ballmoe c1830 . Set within an enclosed ancient graveyard with numerous headstones. 5 Quinns Corn and Tuck CONAGHER Small mill complex consisting of two-bay two-storey former corn and tuck mill and ancillary 4 143300 264950 Mill structures, c. 1825. Erected on river bank. In derelict condition, internal fittings removed and now used for farm storage. 6 St Patrick's Church GARRAFRAUNS Single-cell five bay Roman Catholic church with rendered facade and cut-stone dressings to 4 145420 265170 pointed opes,buttresses and quoins, c. 1870. The interior has an open truss roof, balcony and stained glass windows. Renovated c. 1990. Set within small enclosed site that contains belfry serving as shelter for statue in grounds. 7 St. Mary's Church / KILTIVNA Single-cell Roman Catholic church with a seven bay side elevation, rendered facade, round 5 155140 267390 Church of Christ the headed opes and open truss roof, c. 1880.
