Since the worship of the fishermen exists all along the coast from the Gulf of Thailand in the south to Ha Long Bay and beyond in the north, the study is concentrated to the coastal area of central Việt Nam – that is in the Quảng Nam surroundings, mainly Hội An but also Đà Nẵng. The aspects of the representation of the worship in society as well as how it is looked upon by society, both religiously (according to tôn giáo) and politically, will also be dealt with. This study is based upon observation and non-structured interviews. Although partially being based upon Grounded theory, the study is theoretically inspired by Graham Harvey’s book Animism. Respecting the Living World. The outcome shows that the Cá Ông worship is based upon historical events and experiences.

Nền tảng điện toán đám mây Google Earth Engine (GEE) đã được sử dụng để xử lý và tính toán các chỉ số viễn thám đề xuất. Kết quả cho thấy chỉ số nhóm chỉ số thực vật có tương quan cao với giá trị độ dẫn điện đo đạc trên thực địa (EC), với EVI có hệ số tương quan tốt nhất (R = 0.8) đã được sử dụng để thành lập mô hình thực nghiệm. Chuỗi ảnh trung bình tháng đất nhiễm mặn được thành lập trong cả mùa khô và mùa mưa năm 2018. Thống kế diện tích đất nông nghiệp cho thấy ảnh hưởng bởi mặn thay đổi theo mùa cũng như phụ thuộc vào các mô hình sinh kế nông nghiệp khác nhau. Nghiên cứu kết luận tính ưu việt của việc ứng dụng tư liệu viễn thám như là một phương pháp gián tiếp, kết hợp với công cụ tính toán dữ liệu lớn hiệu năng cao trong việc đánh giá nhanh chóng và chính xác diễn biến ảnh hưởng của đất nhiễm mặn.

Tourism Resources 7.1 Tourism Resources in the Central Tourism Region 7.1.1 Outlines of Major Tourism Resources in Vietnam Vietnam has abundant tourism resources including natural and historical World Heritages with the historical ruins and traditional temples, handicraft villages and traditional events, natural scenic places and ethnic villages on various geographical features (coastal, plain, and mountain area). At present, many efforts have been made to divert tourist’s flow to new tourist resources in combination with major tourist destinations. In order to catch up new trends of Asian tourism, many plans and projects for beach resort or ecotourism in Vietnam have been already formulated and made the best of potential tourism resources.
