CLASSES AND RULES 1.1. F4, GT30 and GT15 classes according to the 2021 UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique) rules and homologations 1.2. SJ10 class according to NA (Kansalliset Kilpailumääräykset 2021) rules 1.3. The Organizers and race officials retain the right to announce additional rules and regulations specifically for the race mentioned in this advance program. These rules and regulations shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the U.I.M. and shall be equally mandatory as any other rules and regulations of these races. The race officials shall also inform drivers about these additional rules and regulations during the official drivers’ briefings 1.4. The official language of the event is English 2. DATE / LOCATION / SCHEDULE 2.1. 21-23.05.2021 2.2. Aurlahden rantakenttä, Rantapuisto 11, 08100 LOHJA 2.3. Schedule according to attachment LOHJA 2021 - SCHEDULE 3. REGISTRATION 3.1. Race registrations shall be issued via the registration section under www.racewknd.com not later than 08.04.2021. Payment of the entry fees takes place during the registration process Late registration will be fined with 100% of the entry fee 3.2. A possible team size limitation will depend on the COVID situation at the time of the event and will be announced as soon as known 3.3. Details of the team members have to be provided in the registration 3.4. All registrations will be confirmed by the organizer. ENTRY FEES SJ10 105€ GT15 150€ GT30 150€ F4 175€ Included is one warm meal for each driver on each day of the event. Additional meal coupons can be pre-ordered during the registration. 4.2. Caravan places with electricity and toilet/shower facilities for teams are available for 90€ (Friday to Sunday, 1 place per team can be booked in advance during the registration, additional places based on the availability at the time of arrival) 5. PARTICIPATION 5.1. Drivers will be admitted to participate in the event only after providing the following (original documents must be presented and copies handed over to the Race Office): 5.2. Foreign drivers: original NA (National Authority) signed ratification document (UIM rule 203.01) 5.3. Measurement certificate, (inter)national license, personal insurance 5.4. Immersion test certificate (only F4) 5.5. Documents of medical examination 5.6. Insurance documents in English or Finnish language 5.7. Acknowledgement of the anti doping rules 5.8. Jury members must present a signed NA authorization form at the race office upon arrival (UIM rule 402.01) 6. MINIMUM AGE OF COMPETITORS 6.1. According to UIM rule 203.04.01 6.2. SJ10 according to NA rule 2.2.1 #racewknd www.racewknd.com 7. INSURANCE 7.1. Insurance certificates according to UIM rule 205.09 shall presented to the race office upon arrival of the driver (insurance documents can be either in Finnish or in English) 7.2. Minimum coverages against third party claims: 335.000€ for personal injuries, 168.000€ for material damage 7.3. Insurance against personal injury and third party claims is available at the race office (price 90 €) 7.4 . Insurance policy shall be attached to application 7. 5 . All drivers are responsible for their own personal accident insurance 7. 6 . Foreign drivers from other EU or ETA countries must have a European Health Insurance Card, EHIC 7.7. All teams are responsible for their equipment (trailers, tents, cars, etc.). The organizers will not in any way have any responsibility towards the dirvers, mechanics or other participants of the event for any material damages incurred during or in connection with the event. All team members acknowledge that they are fully aware of the risks associated with participation in the event and they take part at their own risk 7. 8 . Members of the crew of any boat, that are under their national age of majority, must provide written evidence of parental consent to participate in any race 8. TRANSPORTATION 8.1. The organizer will not allocate any compensation regarding transportation 8.2. Special Finnlines offers for RaceWKND! participants will be published on our webpage: www.racewknd.com in the registration section in due time before the events 9. FUEL 9.1. According to UIM rule 508 9.2. 95 octane Neste Fuel will be provided by the organizers at the venue in 10 liter (25€) and 20 liter (40€) canisters. An 80€ deposit shall be paid for every canister in cash when collecting the canister(s). The deposit will be refunded when returning the canister(s) 9.3. The amount of fuel needed for each team will be enquired during the registration process. 9.4. Refuelling is forbidden in the launching area as well as at the starting jetty #racewknd www.racewknd.com 10. PIT AREA / ENVIRONMENT 10.1. The pit area and the race office will be operational from Friday 21.05.2021 14:00 until the prize giving ceremony on Sunday 23.05.2021 10.2. The pit area will be closed and guarded during the night times (see schedule for details) and nobody without permission of the race officials shall be allowed to stay there 10.3. The pit area is restricted (access for guests / visitors at certain times) 10.4. Every team shall have a tent with MINIMUM dimensions of 3x3 meters. Tent sizes shall be provided along with the race application. Depending on the Corona situation maximum tent dimensions will be announced. 10.5. Weights for tents are mandatory and shall be applied according to Turvallisuus- ja kemikaalivirasto (Tukes). Weights shall be attached via ratchet straps 10.6. Every tent must have at least one 2 kg fire extinguisher placed on the left side of the tent’s exit and shall be equipped with a fire detector 10.7. The organizer will point the tent places to the teams 10.8. Smoking, open fire, bbq and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the pit area 10.9. No cars are permitted to remain in the pit area 10.10. Every member of each team is responsible to take care of the environment around their tent, boats and equipment and to clean their own space in the pit area after the event 10.11. COVID: the rules of opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö (OKM) and terveyden ja hyvinvoinnin laitos (THL) have to be applied by every team member 10.12. Utmost care shall be taken to avoid spilling of fuel or oil. An absorbent carpet underneath each boat shall be used to ensure the safety of the environment according to UIM rule 703 10.13. All team staff and drivers shall wear appropriate and recognizable team clothing as well as closed shoes in the pit area at all times and in all official events from Friday to Sunday 10.14. In case of a dedicated live-video cutting area (Haven), this area will be restricted. Entering only with permission from OOD 10.15. Violation of the pit area rules will be subject to a fine of 100€ unless specified differently in the respective rules 11. NOISE 11.1. The driver of each boat is responsible that the engine of his boat does not exceed the noise levels specified in UIM rule 505.03 at any time #racewknd www.racewknd.com 12. PUBLICITY ON BOATS 12.1. The organizer reserves the right to impose on all drivers the application of stickers (30 x 10 cm) onto both sides of each participating boat according to UIM rule 203.05.01 12.2. Advertising of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages over 22% is prohibited by the Finnish law 13. RACE COURSE 13.1. The courses - see section 28.1 for more details - will be in accordance with the UIM water registration and can be changed 13.2. The maximum number of boats on the race course is 20 (SJ10: 25) 13.3. No B-finals/heats will be driven 13.4. INSPECTION 14.1. Inspections will be carried out according to UIM rule 503 #racewknd www.racewknd.com 15. WEIGHING 15.1. During the event each boat must be prepared for the weighing procedure, which shall be carried out by the Technical Officers at any requested time.
