The GIO-EMS mapping in rush mode service was triggered by the Portuguese authorities to support intervention actions in the area. This is the reference map showing the situation before the event. The core users of the map are ANPC-Portugal National Authority for Civil Protection - Portugal. The scope of the map production is support to emergency response activities. Data Sources Aerial Ortophoto 0.5m resolution, ETRS89 datum - Copyright igp 2007. Base vector layers based on Openstreetmap (approx 1:5000). Street layer provided by ANPC-Portugal - Copyright Navteq 2006. Toponymlayer provided by ANPC-Portugal - Copyright igeoe All Data sources are complete and with no gaps. All geographic information has limitations due to scale, resolution, date and interpretation of the original data sources. The products are compliant with GIO-EMS RUSH Product Portfolio specifications. Map production Present map shows basic topographic features such as transportation (list of layers) in the area of Cachopo (Portugal). These basic topographic features derive from public datasets, refined by mean of visual interpretation of pre-event image Orthoimage 0.5m resolution, acquired 2007, ETRS89 datum.
