Thankfully, we have an enthusiastic and energetic group of women who will pitch in and help. It’s the Highland Lakes Way. Congratulations to all the winners. A special thanks to Nancy Eisenberg, Janice Fajardo and Kristen Weiss for their assistance the day of the event. No one does this alone. Thank you. Although the HL Women’s outing is organized by a different winner each year (with the exception of Dianne Kelly, who has won multiple years in a row, more than once!) the Women’s Outing is continuously supported by Sue Foley Buruchian, her family’s donation of the Foley Cup and outstanding donations from her business, Online Imprints. We are grateful for the support. Thank you Sue. We are pleased to report that the Women’s Golf Outing made a contribution to the HL Goodwill Fund toward the purchase of a Brick on the Path to Goodwill at the Clubhouse, in memory of our dear friend and longtime HL golfer, JoAnne Poppe. For the first time in 17 years, this was the first year without a spectacular moon sighting on the course. We missed her infectious laugh and her enthusiasm. Rest in Peace dear friend. Next year’s outing is Tuesday August 9, 2022. Mark your calendar now to join in the fun!
