MOVING TO MUSIC MOVING TO MUSIC: You like teaching rhythmic activities but you need new ideas. You dread teaching rhythmic activities because you just think it is dance with the same music. This section of the workshop will give you some new ideas with very little or no instruction time in order to keep your students moving to music and get a good workout. Songs such as Waka Waka, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Obla Di Obla Da, Wipeout, Popcorn, The Twist, All Shook Up, The Martian Hop, Lollipop, Green Eggs and Ham, Tony Chestnut, Cotton Eyed Joe, 5-6-7-8, Sleigh Ride and more. Using resistance bands to Eye of the Tiger, The Adams Family, Dueling Banjos, Trashin’ the Camp from the movie Tarzan. Games that involve music such as: Who Let the Dogs Out, Squirrels and Trees, Christmas Corners.
