Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the twenty- seventh year of the Republic of India as follows:- [Comments.-This Act has undergone various changes from time to time. While some amendments have been brought by the Act of Legislature, many amendments were introduced through Ordinances and continued for a long period, before being given the shape of an Act of Legislature. Abstract This paper examines Webometric analysis the website of deemed universities in India. This study covered 125 deemed universities in India. The researcher identified and classified the four domains like State Universities, Central Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities. The researcher found that, out of 21 states, Tamil Nadu has a maximum of 28 (22.40%) universities, it is followed by Maharashtra 21(16.8%). The study calculated the Internal Link, External Link, back link and Size of the website. The study indicates that the numbers of backlinks are very low comparing to some of internal and external link. The researcher suggested that the websites of deemed universities need to attract more external links and impact factor by introducing novel and creative online sources and services and updates of news and research information.     Biography Dr. Alka Singh Principal, Vasanta College for Women, Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Alka Singh is currently the Principal and Professor of English at Vasanta College for Women, Rajghat, Varanasi. She has been teaching for more than three decades and has humbly accepted the position of the Principal in 2015. She is holding the Ph.D, MA, B.Ed, PGDTE, and PGCTE (CIEFL) Degree and has forte in Gender and Subaltern Studies, British Literature, Indian Writing in English and Contemporary Literature in English. Her major publications include Margaret Drabble: Narrative of Identity and Contemporary Issues of Identity, Marginality and Space. She has published several research papers including “Valorisation of Gender Conservatism of Colonial Life in India in 1857 and After in Literary Representation”, Pencraft International, 2009 and “A Tempting Trap: Manju Kapur’s A Married Woman in Contemporary Indian Writing in English, Sarup & Sons, New Delhi, 2005. She has been the Member of Editorial Board, Vasantika, Annual Magazine, Vasanta College for Women and Global Education Society and Development: An International Journal published by Academic Excellence, New Delhi (2008). She is also the Chief Editor of the research journal Vasant Sahastradhara, and Journal of Darshan published by Vasanta College for Women. She has been a resource person in various seminars, conferences and training programmes including her visit to Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. She served as a Session Chair and received the best paper award at the International Conference on “Future of Women 2018” in Kuala lumpur, Malaysia, organized by International Institute of Knowledge Management, Sri Lanka. She was the Chairperson of the NAAC sponsored National Seminar “Enhancing the Quality of Teaching, Learning and Evaluation in Higher Education” (2018) organized by Vasanta College for Women, Rajghat Fort, Varanasi.

Executive Summary Ranchi University came into existence on the 12th of July, 1960 as a teaching- cum-affiliating University with headquarters at Ranchi. At the time of inception Ranchi University covered whole of present day Jharkhand, except Santhal Parganas. In 1992, Ranchi University was bifurcated to create Vinoba Bhave Ranchi University, reducing its area by nearly half. In 2009 Ranchi University was divided twice – in January to create Nilambar Pitambar University, at Medininagar, and in August 2009 to create Kolhan University, at Chaibasa. At present, Ranchi University spans five districts of Jharkhand, namely, Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega and Lohardaga.
