Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the twenty- seventh year of the Republic of India as follows:- [Comments.-This Act has undergone various changes from time to time. While some amendments have been brought by the Act of Legislature, many amendments were introduced through Ordinances and continued for a long period, before being given the shape of an Act of Legislature. Reference may be made to Amending Acts 68 of 1982, 3 of 1990, 9 of 1992, 17 of 1993, 12 of 1995, 16 of 1996, 8 of 1998 & 14 of 1998, while some of the Amending Acts were in both, Hindi and English languages, some of them were published only in Hindi, since some of the Ordinances preceding such Acts as were published only in Hindi. Abstract This paper examines Webometric analysis the website of deemed universities in India. This study covered 125 deemed universities in India. The researcher identified and classified the four domains like State Universities, Central Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities. The researcher found that, out of 21 states, Tamil Nadu has a maximum of 28 (22.40%) universities, it is followed by Maharashtra 21(16.8%). The study calculated the Internal Link, External Link, back link and Size of the website. The study indicates that the numbers of backlinks are very low comparing to some of internal and external link. The researcher suggested that the websites of deemed universities need to attract more external links and impact factor by introducing novel and creative online sources and services and updates of news and research information.     Biography Dr. Alka Singh Principal, Vasanta College for Women, Banaras Hindu University, Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Alka Singh is currently the Principal and Professor of English at Vasanta College for Women, Rajghat, Varanasi. She has been teaching for more than three decades and has humbly accepted the position of the Principal in 2015. She is holding the Ph.D, MA, B.Ed, PGDTE, and PGCTE (CIEFL) Degree and has forte in Gender and Subaltern Studies, British Literature, Indian Writing in English and Contemporary Literature in English. Her major publications include Margaret Drabble: Narrative of Identity and Contemporary Issues of Identity, Marginality and Space.
