SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 Led implementation of the interRAI Community Health Assessment for approximately $20M programming (annual funding) for the Red Cross in .  Led quality, policy/procedure and business development for over $10M annual funding of community health services including Accessible Transportation, Meals on Wheels, and Health Equipment Loan Programs.  Secured and implemented Ontario Red Cross first government funding of Health Equipment Load Program ($250K for a program valued at $800K) in partnership response with MoH Assistive Devices Program.  Led and implemented a $500K transportation technology and integration strategy based in the HNHB Local Health Integration Network area.  Drafted business development proposals, networked with funders and implemented strategies which grew funded programs at Red Cross between 2006 and 2014 valued at more than $785K.  Positioned Red Cross as the provincial charitable sector leader in accessible transportation and recycling of durable health equipment products.

 Led the successful management of Canadian Red Cross operational activities in conjunction with Councils and other key program staff; provided staff support to all Branch Councils within the region and led the volunteer management process by developing volunteer leadership.  Recommended and implemented resource adaptation of staff, finances and assets within the region to optimize operations; fostered and promoted continuous and innovative improvement of services.  Ensured branch management of facilities within shared Branch premise and annual business and operational plans were aligned with Zone strategic plans. Healthcare Equipment Load Program Project Manager, Feb 2008 - Oct 2008

 Finalized implementation of $800k organization investment in provincial program.  Led program staff of 10 in Hamilton, and Toronto centres.  Provincial annual program expense budget of approximately $800k (not inclusive of investment).  Implementation and monitoring of new provincial policy and procedure manual and software system.

Branch Manager, & District, Jun 2006 – Mar 2008

 Led development of $320k annual revenue growth of Community Support programs.  Oversaw Disaster Management, First Aid, Community Support and all branch activities for Thunder Bay and Area; shifted branch from net-deficit to net surplus operation.  Oversaw identification, purchase and relocation to new branch location for higher community engagement and visibility; drafted and implemented the first provincial CRCS engagement plan.  Facilitator for “Introduction to Red Cross Red Crescent Workshop”.
