Corporal Nor Azlan, 41, and Corporal R Subramaniam, 52, were shot while on patrol duty on Jalan Kuchai Lama. They are now thankfully in stable condition. The rise in crime cases throughout the country shows yet again that even lawenforcers are susceptible to this endemic problem, which as yet is not succesfully tackled by the Federal Government. In fact, the limited attempts by the Najib administration to address crime in Klang Valley amounts to not much more than a cosmetic redress of the issue. On numerous occasions Nurul Izzah and her Pakatan Rakyat colleagues have stressed that what needs to happen is a comprehensive review of PDRM, including the retraining and redeployment of deskbound personnel to bolster the number of Investigating Officers (IOs) and generally increase police presence on the streets. The visit was very much welcomed by the temple committee and visitors alike, with many lining up to take photographs with her as well as sharing any recent complaints or thoughts they may have about the goingson in Brickfields. Pakatan Rakyat reveals its Budget 2013 Wed, 26 Sept Pakatan Rakyat revealed it's alternative budget for 2013, called "Belanjawan Pakatan Rakyat 2013: Ekonomi Rakyat, Negara Berkat" at Parliament here today. The alternative budget, another proof of the good working relations between the component parties of KEADILAN, PAS, and DAP, highlights the need to reform aspects of government to ensure that all expenses will be used for the betterment of the people instead of enriching cronies and the elite clique. Some of the key proposals in Pakatan Rakyat's 2013 Budget include: Free education for all Malaysians us5.campaign-archive1.com/?u=a853add0d4251b02b99536fa3&id=b0e61c1274&e=73c66c1d96 3/5 10/2/12 Latest from Lembah Pantai - 1 Oct 2012 National Women Savings Scheme (Caruman Wanita Nasional) RM500 monthly allowances for teachers Increasing monthly assistance from the Welfare Department from RM300 to RM550 Minimum wage of RM1,100 Breaking up monopolies to help businesses become more competitive To read more about the budget, click here. Najib absent during Opposition Leader's speech Mon, 1 Oct YB Nurul Izzah today lambasted the absence of Prime Minister DS Najib Razak and his entire cabinet for failing to turn up during the debate of Budget 2013. By convention, after the tabling of the annual budget by the Minister of Finance, the Leader of the Opposition is given the first right to respond. Unfortunately, neither the Minister of Finance nor any of his cabinet members were present. • SOALAN LAZIM PENYAKIT NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) 15 November 2020
SOALAN LAZIM PENYAKIT NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) 15 November 2020 Soalan 1: Apakah coronavirus?

Malaysia Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation Report Weekly report for the week ending 6 December 2020 Malaysia Situation summary As of 6 December 2020, there have been a total of 72 694 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Malaysia. In the past week, 8209 new cases have been reported, a 15.5% decrease of cases compared to the previous week. Of the new cases reported, only 32 (0.4%) were imported. In the past week, 25 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia to 382. Upcoming events and priorities The National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) is prepared to re-activate the low-risk COVID- 19 quarantine and treatment centre at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) if needed. The opening of the centre will be subject to the decision of the Ministry of Health (MOH). The MOH has rejected the proposal for a green work bubble to allow factory workers who have tested negative and are still undergoing their 14-day quarantine to return to work early. Authorities are currently reviewing data to evaluate the need to shorten mandatory quarantine periods for international travellers into Malaysia. Selangor state government has established three initiatives to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state. It includes: o Isolating Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) cargo workers. o Identifying five locations to open low-risk COVID-19 quarantine and treatment centres. o Increasing coordination with district health officers to expedite foreign workers’ screenings. The MOH has spent an estimated total of RM 1.17 billion on the nation’s fight against COVID-19.

Azit et al. BMC Public Health (2019) 19:1432 https://doi.org/10.1186/s12889-019-7814-x RESEARCH ARTICLE Open Access Factors associated with tuberculosis disease among children who are household contacts of tuberculosis cases in an urban setting in Malaysia Noor Atika Azit1, Aniza Ismail1*, Norfazilah Ahmad1, Rohani Ismail2 and Shuhaily Ishak2 Abstract Background: With the rise in prevalence of childhood tuberculosis (TB) globally, contact tracing should be a powerful strategy for early diagnosis and management, especially in children who are household contacts of active TB cases. Here, we aimed to determine the prevalence and factors associated with TB disease in children who are household contacts of TB cases. Methods: We used a cross-sectional study with data from the Malaysian TB Information System (TBIS) recorded from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2017. All children aged 0–14 years who were registered in the TBIS with at least one household contact of TB cases were included in the study. Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed to calculate the adjusted odds ratio (adj. OR) and for adjusting the confounding factors. Results: A total of 2793 children were included in the study. The prevalence of active TB was 1.5% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.31, 1.77%). Children aged < 5 years [adj.
