Le prénom « Kate », par exemple, ne fait pas référence à la même personne dans ces deux titres d’articles tirés du journal The Sun : The Sun, hors corpus : « Kate: it’s all over. » 2 The Sun, texte 1 : « Wills on hols with Kate and his in-laws. » Aucun indice dans le nom propre lui-même ne signale au lecteur que le premier Kate se réfère au mannequin Kate Moss, tandis que le second fait référence à la duchesse de Cambridge. Pour faire la différence, le lecteur devra prêter attention au contexte (plus ou moins immédiat) dans lequel se trouve l’occurrence. Dans le premier cas, il s’avèrera sûrement nécessaire de continuer à lire le sous-titre de l’article pour établir la référence (« Exclusive: Supermodel and hubby Jamie call it quits. »). Dans le second, la mention de « Wills » dès le titre (une référence au Prince William, mari de Kate Middleton) pourra constituer une indication suffisante pour le lecteur averti. On remarquera au passage que les connaissances du destinataire du discours jouent un rôle non négligeable dans l’identification du référent. Ainsi, pour comprendre que le prénom Kate du deuxième titre fait référence à Kate Middleton, il est nécessaire de savoir : 1) qu’elle est mariée au Prince William, et 2) que le nom de celui-ci s’abrège en « Wills ». Pour autant, la bonne identification d’un référent ne saurait dépendre d’un nombre limité et quantifiable de « connaissances » nécessaires et suffisantes à posséder sur ce référent. Dans le cas des prénoms « Wills » et « Kate », par exemple (souvent utilisés corrélativement dans les articles de The Sun), il serait incorrect de dire que le lecteur doit d’abord savoir que « Wills » fait référence au Prince William, pour ensuite pouvoir en déduire le référent de « Kate ». On 25 th April 2010 the Sunday Mirror published an article under the headline “My Affair with England Captain Rio”. In very similar terms the article also appeared on the website www.mirror.co.uk between 25 th and 30 th April 2010. The Defendant is the publisher of the newspaper and website. The Claimant is the well known footballer, Rio Ferdinand. He claims that the article in both formats was an unjustified infringement of his right to privacy, a misuse of his private information and a breach of confidence. The Defendant defends its publications as a legitimate exercise of its right of freedom of expression. 2. The article gave an account of the Claimant’s relationship with Ms Carly Storey. They had met in 1996 or 1997 when he was a teenager and she was 17. They drifted apart from 2000, when the Claimant moved to Leeds United, until 2002. In 2002 they resumed contact via phone and text messages and also met up. The last time they met was in May 2005.

Summary The consumption of sexually explicit media has long been a matter of public and political concern. It has also been a topic of academic interest. In both these arenas a predominantly behaviourist model of effects and regulation has worked to cast the examination of sexually explicit texts and their consumption as a debate about harm. The broader area of investigation remains extraordinarily undeveloped. Sexually explicit media is a focus of interest for academics because of the way it ‘speaks’ sex and sexuality for its culture. In this paper I examine existing and emerging figures of the porn consumer, their relation to ways of thinking and speaking about pornography, and the implications of these for future work on porn consumption.     5 FEBRUARY 2015 Australian audiences will be able to celebrate an explosive four nights of television with the EastEnders 30th Anniversary premiering on UKTV from March 2 until March 5 at 6.15pm with a special flashback episode on March 4 at 7.25pm. The anniversary week will see a tempestuous week of drama with shocking revelations, story twists that will leave a lump in the throat and moments that will elicit gasps from fans. With storylines culminating and momentous events happening, the EastEnders 30th Anniversary will take its place in television history and change Albert Square forever. Viewers will discover who killed Lucy Beale and have an opportunity to see exactly how and why it happened as EastEnders takes viewers back to the night she was murdered in a flashback special at 7.25pm on Wednesday March 4, directly after an hour-long episode. This episode will fill in the blanks and answer questions that have been haunting the residents of Walford since last year. Hetti Bywater will be reprising her role as Lucy Beale, Tanya Franks returns as Rainie Cross and Jamie Lomas as Jake Stone. The week will also see the return of some of EastEnders most iconic characters. Barbara Windsor will reprise her role as Peggy Mitchell for one episode where she makes a visit to her beloved Queen Victoria. Jo Joyner and John Partridge will also reprise their roles as Tanya Cross and Christian Clarke to attend Ian and Jane’s wedding as part of the celebrations. Tim Christlieb, Acting Director of Channels for BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand, says “UKTV will mark the 30th Anniversary of its flagship series with a heated four nights of thunderous television.

    Friday October 3, 2014 EASTENDERS 30th ANNIVERSARY IS GOING LIVE In February 2015, EastEnders will be celebrating its 30th anniversary and to mark the special occasion it will be pushing the boundaries by going live. Not only will there be a 30 minute live episode but there will also be a series of live elements in all the episodes that week. This special week, which will broadcast on UKTV in Australia approximately two weeks after transmission in the UK, will give a nod to the past and welcome the future. With storylines culminating, big momentous events happening, the EastEnders 30th anniversary will take its place in television history. Speaking of the plans for the anniversary, Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Executive Producer said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for EastEnders to create a massive national event and one that will enable us to celebrate 30 years of EastEnders in spectacular style. With live elements to each episode as well as a half hour live episode, it allows us to have a huge amount of surprises for the audience. It is ambitious and exciting and something I know everyone at EastEnders will excel at as they always do.” Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One adds: "We will bring the nation together to celebrate 30 years of EastEnders by going live across the anniversary week.
