Venue

The conference’s venue is the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at the Communication Campus of Pompeu Fabra University. It is located in Barcelona’s Poble Nou district.

The closest metro station to the venue is Glòries (red line).

Take the exit leading to the shopping center Glòries and walk along the main street (Diagonal) passing the tower Torre Agbar. The university is within 5 minutes walking distance from the metro station; it’s a modern building with the red flag of Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Transport options from the airport:

By bus: From the airport take the AEROBUS to Plaça de Catalunya. Change there to the metro line 1 (red line, direction: Fondo) to Glòries. Then take the exit leading to the shopping center Glòries and walk along the main street (Diagonal) passing the tower Torre Agbar.

By train: From the airport (Terminal 2) take the train to Clot-Aragó. Change there to the metro line 1 (red line, direction: Hospital de Bellvitge) to Glòries (1 stop). Then take the exit leading to the shopping center Glòries and walk along the main street (Diagonal) passing the tower Torre Agbar.

By taxi: The journey by taxi from the airport to the Poble Nou district takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on road conditions. Taxi fares are around 40 Euros to the university and the hotel Four Points by Sheraton.
