Until 1996 I worked in prose and then in opera debut as a lighting designer. Since 2000 I designed the lights for the Maestro Pier Luigi Pizzi, ranging from classical to modern and contemporary. I worked with Werner Herzog Master in Die Zauberflöte, Der Fliegende Holländer and I due Foscari. With Maestro Giorgio Marini I designed the lights for The Capulets and the Montagues and prose for Happy Eyes and The Twins. With Maestro De Simone I inaugurated the reopening of the Petruzzelli theater with Turandot. In the dance I designed the lights for Kitonb, for the Argonauts, for the shows of Luke Veggetti and for some performances by Roberto Bolle. I light the Madonna dei Pellegrini by Caravaggio and various exhibitions in Rome, Rimini and Forli. With architect Caputo, I realized original creations such as the "Panteon Veneto", the Luzzatti Sala, the exhibition of the artist Zhong Biao and the lighting of the Hotel Ca 'Sagredo on the Grand Canal in Venice. I designed and implemented the new lighting of the Immaculate Conception Church in Via Veneto in Rome and St. Stephen fresco in Martellago. In 2016 I made several jobs: directed by Lorenzo Amato and the scenes by Ezio Frigerio I realized the lights for Norma at the San Carlo in Naples and Butterfly in Astana. Also in the San Carlo I light Butterfly directed by Pippo Delbono and Aida by Franco Dragone. In Naples, directed by Amos Gitai, with the scenes of Dante Ferretti and costumes by Gabriella Pescucci, I light Otello by Rossini. Directed by Deda Colonna I light Didone Abbandonata in Florence. I Light the exhibition J.P. Velly in Palazzo Poli in Rome. From this year I teach Linghting Design at the Academy of Art in Rome RUFA. I live in Rome with my wife Michela, the eldest son Filippo and the twins Marta and Gabriele. .

CURRICULUM Under the tutelage of Maestro Silvio Maggioni, he received his diploma in clarinet at the Conservatorio di Brescia. After several musical experiences in chamber music as well as symphonie repertoire, he began his vocal studies and finalized his technique under Maestro Alfredo Pinardi. Carmela Remigio Began Taking Voice Lessons Under Aldo Protti, Then Perfecting Her Technique Under Leone Magiera
Saverio Clemente Andrea De Amici Luca Targetti Recently awarded the prestigious “Premio Abbiati”, soprano Carmela Remigio began taking voice lessons under Aldo Protti, then perfecting her technique under Leone Magiera. After winning the 1992 “Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition” she made her debut – at the young age of nineteen – singing the lead role in Giampaolo Testoni’s opera Alice at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. Following her first baroque roles, she dedicated to Mozart’s operas, singing all of their main roles: Susanna and Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Elettra and Ilia in Idomeneo. She has been in over three- hundred-fifty performances of Don Giovanni, singing both Donna Elvira and Donna Anna, the latter role allowing her to work with Peter Brook and Claudio Abbado. Since then she has worked with conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Myung-Whun Chung, Jeffrey Tate, Daniel Harding, Gustavo Dudamel, Riccardo Chailly, Gianandrea Noseda, John Axelrod, Roberto Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Michel Plasson, Eliahu Inbal, Kent Nagano; and stage directors like David McVicar, Graham Vick, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Federico Tiezzi, Karole Armitage, Mario Martone, Luca Ronconi and Damiano Michieletto. Alessandra Panzavolta – Dancer & Choreographer
ALESSANDRA PANZAVOLTA – DANCER & CHOREOGRAPHER After starting her classical and modern dance studies at the prestigious Teatro alla Scala dance school in Milan, she continued her training at the Royal Academy of Dance in London, under the artistic direction of Margot Fonteyn. Simultaneously, she graduated in Foreign Languages and Humanities, and began musical studies. She began to dance as a soloist at fifteen and debuted as a prima ballerina in the Green Table of Jooss at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, where she remained for three years, participating in many productions and tours of the company. In 1990, she was selected by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage to represent Italian dance on a tour that included Milan, Rome, Monaco, New York, Moscow and Tokyo. She began her career as a choreographer at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, collaborating with artists such as Guido Pistoni, Robert North, Yannis Kokkos, Pier'Alli, Pier Luigi Pizzi and Roberto Laganá. In 1995 she worked in Reggio Emilia with Emilio Sagi, with whom she worked on productions of El retablo de maese Pedro and Il Cordovano in collaboration with the Ater dance masterclasses. Between 1996 and 2000 she was invited to the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and to the Wexford Opera Festival, where she debuted as a director in Carmen. In the same year she participated in Macbeth conducted by Riccardo Muti for Teatro alla Scala and in 1999 she directed, for the Teatro Politeama of Lecce, I Capuleti and the Montecchi and began a collaboration with José Luis Castro and the Teatro de la Maestranza of Seville for Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Le nozze di Figaro and other works.

MYRTÒ PAPATANASIU – Soprano Myrtò Papatanasiu’s magnificent voice and dazzling stage presence have established her as a unique international opera singer. Her Rusalka performance was reviewed by New York Times: “the penetrating soprano Myrtò Papatanasiu singing powerful high notes”. Born in Larissa, Greece, Myrtò Papatanasiu studied piano and music theory at the local Conservatory as well as musicology at the Aristotele University of Thessaloniki, before receiving her vocal performance diploma with distinction and first prize award from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. PIER LUIGI PIZZI a decade of stage design and artistic direction From Baroque theatre to an erudite journey of Masonic initiation rite through transgression and reason, exoticism, myth and fable. Text by Ivana D’Agostino The decade of stage design and artistic direction here considered is done so through a sampling of works regarded as significant in supporting the theory introduced by the title: that is, the passage from the exhilarating, grandiloquent opulence of the scenery and the abundance of “surprise elements” inherent in Baroque theatre to the essentiality of the message, albeit rich in symbolic citations, expressed in the erudite journey of the Masonic initiation rite, the overall theme for the operas billed for the 2006 edition of the Sferisterio Opera Festival, annually held in Macerata, Italy. A refining process of the visual language that conforms to the nobility of meanings implicit - expiation-redemption, catharsis, extreme sacrifice in the pursuit of absolute values - themes previously touched upon in two productions: The Magic Flute for the Rome Opera House and Tancredi for the Rossini Opera Festival, respectively staged in 2001 and 1999. If the 2001 staging of The Magic Flute appears greatly different from the Sferisterio edition in that the sacredness of the priests who, at Macerata, subject Tamino to a philological initiation rite of the firstdegree, in Tancredi the solemn monumentality of the scenic apparatus corresponds to the ideals of Enlightenment contained in Voltaire’s text; of which the tragic finale was revived at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, contemplated at Brescia in Rossini’s version, in the archive of Count Luigi Lechi.
