As a matter of fact, the health drink which we have included in our BioMill recipes is consumed twice a day almost throughout South India! Recipe Guide All of them are a quick 4-step guide recipes. Trust us you will love them HEALTH DRINK 2 Tbsp BioMill 200ml Water Jaggery/Sugar/Honey as needed Milk as needed Coffee or Cocoa Powder for flavour Step 1 Take 2 tbsp of BioMill in 200ml water and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Step 2 Cook on a medium flame for 4-5 min and keep stirring continuously. Step 3 Add milk and sugar/honey/jaggery as needed. Step 4 Add the cocoa powder or coffee for an amazing flavour! *You can also consume it with buttermilk and salt instead of milk and sugar. BioMill Health Drink PORRIDGE 2 Tbsp BioMill 200ml Water 1 Tbsp Ghee Jaggery as needed Chopped fruits(Bananas, Berries) Dry fruits Step 1 On a medium flame place a vessel which would contain 200 ml of water. Add 2 Tbsp of BioMill and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Step 2 Keep on stirring for 4-5min till it becomes a paste. Step 3 Add 1 Tbsp ghee and jaggery to it. Step 4 Add chopped fruits or dry fruits and serve. Your porridge is ready! *Fruits and vegetables can be added as per choice. *Jaggery can be added as per sweetness required. BioMill Porridge LADDU 2 Cups BioMill 1 Cup Jaggery ½ Cup Ghee 1 Cup Scrapped Coconut 2 Tbsp Water 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder Step 1 Dry roast BioMill on a low flame for 5-7min. Do so till an aroma arises. In a kadhai, take a teaspoon of ghee and add scrapped coconut till an aroma comes. Keep dry fruits sauted in ghee ready alongside. Step 2 Now add all the above metioned ingredients in a bowl along with cardamom powder and mix it. Step 3 In another pan, heat up jaggery on a low flame and add water to it for dilution. Switch of the gas once the jaggery melts completely. Add the melted jiggery to the above batter in Step 2 and mix well. Step 4 Add the final mixture in a mixer. Take it out and start giving them laddu shapes. Tasty Laddus ready! *While making the laddu, add ghee in batches and shape them. If you want your laddu extra soft, add more ghee. BioMill Laddus *You may add nuts if you want. IDLI 1 Cup BioMill 2 Tbsp Ghee 1 ½ Cup Curd 1 Tbsp Bengal Gram ¼ Tbsp Cooking Soda 1 Tbsp Ginger 1 Chopped Green Chilli Salt and Water as needed ½ Tbsp Mustard seeds 1 Tbsp Urad Dal 2 Tbsp each Cashewnuts, Coriander leaves, Curry Leaves Step 1 In a kadhai, temper the mustard seeds, add bengal and urad dal and cashewnuts. Saute it till their colour changes to golden. Step 2 To this mixture, add finely chopped ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves. Add BioMill till aroma arises. Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down. Step 3 In a mixing bowl, add the cooled down paste, curd, soda, salt and water as needed. Mix it consistently and let it sit for 20 min. Step 4 Fill this batter in the idli moulds and steam it for 15-20 min. Serve them with yummy chutney or sambar! * All the vegetables and cashews are to be chopped for better results. BioMill Idli BARFI 2 Cups BioMill 1 ½ Cup Sugar 3 Tbsp Ghee 1 Cup Milk Powder Step 1 In a kadhai dry roast BioMill for 2-3min on a medium flame. Add milk powder to the roast, mix it well and keep it aside. Step 2 In another kadhai, add sugar and water and bring them to a boil. When its starts to boil, reduce the gas and heat and add the batter prepared in step 1. Step 3 Stir it continuously till it becomes thick. It should be like a soft dough. Transfer this dough to a greased plate and let it cool down. Step 4 Once cool, cut it in desired size and your healthilicous BioMill barfis are ready! BioMill Barfi MIX DAL DOSA 2 Cups BioMill ¼ Cup Moong Dal ¼ Cup Toor Dal ¼ Cup Chana Dal Hing ¼ Cup Urad Dal Salt to taste 5 Red Chillies Water Curry Leaves Step 1 Combine all the dals and soak it in water for 30min. Afterwards, grind it all together with the red chillies. Step 2 Take 2 cups of BioMill in a mixing bowl and add some water to it. Add the grounded daal, hing, salt and mix it well such that the batter appears consistenly. Set it aside for couple of hours. Step 3 Later, heat a pan and pour the batter from outwards to inwards. Drizzle ghee/oil from sides. Step 4 Ta-da! Nutrilicious dosa is ready. It can be served with chutney and sambar. *Do note that this batter is thicker than normal dosa batter. *To the dosa batter, you ca add shredded cocunuts for extra flavour. BioMill Mix Dal Dosa SWEET APPE 2 Cups BioMill 1 ½ Cup Jaggery Ghee as needed ¼ Cup Scrapped Coconut 2 Tbsp Water 3 Small Bananas A pinch Cardamom Powder, Salt & Cooking Soda Step 1 In a mixing bowl, combine the jaggery powder, scrapped coconut, cardamom powder and salt. To this add water. Mix it all well so that there are no lumps in the batter. Set the batter aside for 3 hours. Step 2 After 3 hours, add mashed bananas and soda to the batter. Step 3 Heat the appe pan and grease each mold with ghee/oil and pour the batter. Cook it well on both the sides. Step 4 Viola! Your sweet Appes are good to serve. They can be eaten with any chutney of your choice! *The batter in the first step should be thick. BioMill Sweet Appe SOUP 3 Tbsp BioMill 200ml Water 1 Tbsp Butter Salt and Pepper as needed Chopped vegetables of your choice Step 1 In a kadhai saute the vegetables for a minute on medium flame. To this add 200ml water and bring it to a boil. Step 2 In a different vessel take 3 Tbsp of BioMill and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Step 3 Combine both the mixtures in a larger vessel and stir till it becomes soupy. Step 4 Add salt and pepper as needed. Viola! Soup is ready! *Vegetables’ choice can be as per one's preference. *We recommend that you try out beans, carrots and cabbage. BioMill Porridge DOSA 1 Cup BioMill 1 Tbsp Jeera Ghee/Oil as needed ¼ Cup Curd Salt and Water as needed Step 1 In a big bowl, mix together a cup of BioMill along with jeera and curd. Add salt and water as needed. Step 2 Mix the batter till it is consistent and keep it aside for 3 hours. Step 3 Afterwards, heat a pan and pour the batter in an outwards to inwards fashion. Sprinkle ghee/oil on the sides. Step 4 Enjoy hot steaming dosas with Onion or tomato or coconut chutney. BioMill Dosa SALTED APPE 2 Cups BioMill ½ Cup Sooji 2 Tbsp Oil 3 Tbsp Bengal Gram ½ Cup Chopped Onion Salt to taste 3 Chopped Green Chillies Chopped Coriander Leaves ½ Tbsp Mustard seeds ½ Tbsp Urad Dal Curry Leaves Step 1 Firstly soak the bengal gram for 15min. Then, take BioMill in a mixing bowl, add sooji and some water to this mixture. Grind the previously soaked bengal gram and add it to the mixture. Step 2 In a small pan, switch on the gas at medium flame and heat oil, mustard seeds, urad daal and curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds start spluttering, add the chopped onions & chillies. When the onion turns a bit transluscent, switch off the gas. Add this to the batter in step 1. Step 3 Grease the Appe pan with oil and pour batter in it. Switch the gas at low flame and let it cook for approximately 5 min till the sides turn brown. Repeat the same for the other side. Step 4 Cook it for 2-3 min more and then serve it with the chutney of your choice! * Any vegetables of your choice can be added BioMill Salted Appe.
