Hearing and eye protection is now compulsory, maximum load 28gr as of 1/1/06 Compulsory Guidelines The State has finalised guidelines for this years’ state selection and championship shoots. It was decided that we adopt the following policies as per AGM 2005; 1. Exotic targets are to comprise 30% of the targets thrown. (E.g. 8 exotic targets per layout mini- mum) Two Rabbits and two Battues must be thrown on each range. The balance of the 30% of exotics are to be distributed over the Ranges i.e. Midis, Minis, Super Minis and Rockets 2. Each Range must have between 4 and 8 Doubles per 25 Targets 3. A2.18.2 Sighter targets. At all shoots which have been advertised to attract other competitors, including state and national championships. Sighter targets will be thrown if requested for the first shooter only and for the first shooter of subsequent squads, all other aspects of rule 2.18 and A2.18 still apply. 4. Squad sheets must have a designated referee in each squad and must be checked and signed by each shooter on completion of each round. Each round must be scored on separate sheets and returned to office at completion of each round. 5. Range inspections must commence at least one hour prior to advertised shoot time. The range inspection committee has the right to alter targets. 6. Appeals must be lodged in the correct manner otherwise they will not be heard by the jury. 7. Clubs advertisements must acknowledge sponsorship from NSWF&G. 8. Adrian Hayes Memorial (club team event) All shooters must be current financial members of NSWF&G. Entry Fee $20 per team. As per standing orders lodged 11/05/00, teams are to be made up of four persons from the nominated branch. The four person team is made up of a maximum of one AA grade shooter, at least on B or C grade shooter and the remaining can come from A, B or C. Veteran, Ladies and juniors who are part of that team must go on their open grade handicap to compete. Branches with insufficient numbers present may borrow one team member from another branch. 9. Maximum nomination fee for State Selection Shoots set at $60 per 100 targets. State is to provide $750 per host club for State Selection shoots and $1250 for the State Champi- onship. This money will not be released until results and a written shoot report is emailed to the CTD ([email protected]) 10. All financial members of SCA Australia (all states) are eligible to compete for sashes and prizes at NSW State Selection and Championship shoots, however interstate members are not eligible for selection points or any incentives exclusively available for NSWF&G members. Recommended Guidelines; Range format: Clubs have the option to introduce new format, which consists of 5 stands with three traps consisting of three singles and a pair (five targets) per stand, as per national events.
