Siam Winery was founded in 1986 by Chalerm Yoovidhya with his vision to offer consumers as a healthy , and to become Asia’s leader in wine and wine beverages in harmony with our partners, the society and the environment. He had the clear and strong aim to build a Thai wine culture.

Chalerm knew that in order to sell wine in the Thai market, he needed to slowly adjust the fermented taste of wine to the Thai palate. Thus, SPY Wine Cooler was born. With sales today of more than 100 million bottles per annum, SPY is a deeply and positively established brand, and the most popular alcoholic beverage amongst women in Thailand.

During the late 1990s Siam Winery rapidly developed its still wine business, culminating with the launch of Monsoon Valley in 2002. These are quintessential New Latitude Wines. Award winning Monsoon Valley wines now focus on international varietals, thriving in tropical conditions, grown at Siam Winery’s Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, the first and only vineyard in Prachub Kiri Khan province located two and a half hour south of Bangkok. Siam Winery has opened the vineyard's doors to welcome visitors to a unique wine tourism experience, where they can indulge in the exciting allure of New Latitude Wines and will also be able to learn about tropical viticulture from Siam Winery’s professional team.

Siam Winery’s state-of-the-art winery in Samut Sakhon province is located just an hour from Bangkok. The local winemaking team is lead by an energized and experienced German winemaker, Kathrin Puff, as well as tropical viticulture and winemaking consultants from Germany. Together they work at the highest level of professionalism to guarantee world-standard winemaking as well as the best possible quality in every bottle of Siam Winery’s premium wines.

Apart from establishing and promoting the best of Thai products, Siam Winery is also continually looking to expand its portfolio through the import of the highest quality products. In early 2010, World of Wines™, a selection of award-winning wines imported by Siam Winery, was launched, together with the introduction of Siam Winery’s “Wine Wheel Selector”, designed to educate consumers on how to best pair the right wines with the right food.

At Siam Winery we continue to invest in the future, planting top quality grapevines on several hundred acres of land, as well as working with our local contract farmers so as to enable us to offer an array of quality brands to consumers, now and in the future.

With the vision to build a wine culture in the Asian market, Siam Winery first launched exports from Thailand in 1998, and has continuously expanded its international business, and is now exporting to 28 countries including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and several markets in Asia. Today Siam Winery is the leading wine beverage producer in Asia, with the established leading RTD in ASEAN. In 2013, with its continuing aim to achieve the above vision, Siam Winery has grown its international market as it launches products in China and Indonesia.

Product concepts

SPY A sparkling refreshing wine beverage made from a blend of grape wine and sparkling water. For many, it is their introduction to alcoholic beverages. Currently, it is the market leader in Thailand and South East Asia. There are a total of ten variants under the SPY brand, with both the wine Cooler range and Cocktail range being made from tropical fruit extracts.

Fresco A fruit wine blended from grapes and different kinds of fruits. With its moderate content of alcohol (8%) and its convenient screw cap closure, it is perfect to be enjoyed at any time and any place. Fresco has two ranges for enjoyable drinking; fruit wine, and sparkling fruit wine, with an excellent balance of sweetness, lightness, and smooth taste. Fresco is suitable for new wine drinkers who want an easy enjoyment for those relaxing times with friends.

Chateau Vendome - France This wine is made from grapes grown in the Languedoc Roussillon area of France. The twenty years old vines are grown on argilo-calcaire soils and are regulated by three different bodies of water. The micro-climate produces true “Terroir” wine.

Famille Castel - France The Castel family has focused their skills on the production of French wine for more than half a century. It is flavorsome, affordable, easy drinking wines, made for sharing with friends and family.

Chateau Cavalier – France The property is located in Vidauban in the Var district, between Aix-en- Provence and Nice. Originally covering 50 hectares and later has expanded to 130 as the vines grow on mainly shallow, sandy soils which are known for being extremely well-draining. Florent Gaillard, specialist in the rosé wines of Provence, now hopes to “discover the subtle nuances of this terroir, and to produce gourmet wines which combine elegance, flavour and good body.”

Chateau D’arcins – France Long history began in 16th century, under the manorial administration of the Seigneurie de Lesparre. Château Tour Prignac stands within one of the largest estates in Médoc. The estate is made up of 300 hectares of field and forests, 147 hectares are now on a par with the “grand” estate. The character of chalky clay on the terroir guarantees the excellence of our grapes.

Chateau de Goelane – France Château de Goëlane was built in the 1850s under the patronage of François Gusman Gras, a wealthy merchant and fervent supporter of Bonaparte. It is steeped in history, lies at the heart of a unique terroir, the gently undulating vineyard leads from the foot of the little village church in Saint-Léon. The estate comprises 90 hectares, the Entre-deux-mers region is made up of small valleys, with slopes of chalky or siliceous clay. No barrels are used while vinification is achieved by extracting the quintessence of fruit and particular finesse of the tannins from the grapes in this particular terroir.

Chateau du Bousauet– France Chateau du Bousquet proudly draws attention to its magnificent stone residence since the 17th century and have been classed among the top three crus of the “Bourges” vineyards. The grapes grown are diverse 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec on limited 70 hectares. The deep limestone and clay soil is a real asset for the sloping vineyards, which provides coolness and irrigation even in the hottest weather. Antoine Oliveira pays tribute to his work by upholding Bousquet’s status as a jewel of the Cote de Bourg AOC for newly-stored winery house 800 oak barrels in flawless conditions.

Chateau Ferrande – France Chateau Ferrande is situated in the village of Castres-Gironde that was rebuilt at the end of 19th Century. The estate enjoys a long and illustrious history; a clue of Roman presence in Castres in the first century BC. The vineyards lie in the center of the Appellation whose very specific terroir in 94 hectares. The soil is mainly sand and gravel with a surface of large pebbles, encourages rapid ripening -production of elegant and stylish wine. Marc Maintenat, the director and helmsman is carefully vinificate the handcrafted grapes in the stainless steel vats before 12- 14 months maturing in oak barrels.

Chateau Latour Camblanes – France There is evidence to suggest that wine production started in early of 1722 but separated from Chateau La Tresne in 1801. Vineyard is nestled in the heart of the Appellation Cotes de Bordeaux, an unimpeded view of Garonne valley, an exceptional terroirs under none more than 30 hecteres on slopes of chalky clay, with exactly the right orientation and efficiently natural drainage. Paul-Henri Parlange, the youngest director who passions to elevate the status of this cru, so that it is seen as “one of the greats”.

Chateau Malbec – France Chateau Malbec is a charming property dating back to 1860, situated in the village of Sainte Eulalie, at the gateway to Bordeaux. The majority of vines face South, Chateau Malbec is in perfect harmony: densely planted with each varietal in its own particular spot. Optimum leaf- surface ensures perfect ripeness, and green harvests are considered if conditions deem them necessary. Daniel Emery is at the helm if Chateau Malbec, he is sensitively vinify and mature the handcrafted grapes in superb temperature controlled vats, while stainless steel tanks, also fully temperature controlled, are the ideal for modern and technical vinification.

The property was sold in 1935 to Spanish Army General Duke Del Infantado and Francavailla, a sales which the start of a dormant period for the Estate’s wine. Château Tour Prignac stands within one of the largest estates in Médoc. Chateau, taking its name from the towers which adorn the structure. The estate is made up of 300 hectares of field and forests, 147 hectares are now on a par with the “grand” estate. The character of chalky clay on the terroir guarantees the excellence of our grapes.

Maison Louis Girard Chablis – France The Chablis vineyard is planted on the slopes which border the valley of the Serein River. It is an undulating region whose hilltops are very often wooded over 4300 hactres, and covers about twenty villages with an average altitude of 120 – 150 m above sea level. The subsoil is composed

of limestone marl and fossilized oyster shells (kimmeridgian), and is rich and porous, encouraging deep root formation and ensuring sufficient irrigation.

Chateau Meyre - France Wine started from 19th century, Chateau Meyre has vines growing on its property for more than three centuries.
