Metro and RER For full information on the extensive Paris metro system visit http://www.ratp.fr Paris Metro tickets are valid for travel on Paris transport/transit including: Paris Metro (subway), Paris RER Train (within Zone 1-2), Tramways, RATP, Paris city bus, Noctilien buses (night bus). Optile buses (Paris suburban bus), Montmartre Cable car (Funiculaire de Montmartre) Paris Metro Ticket t+ is currently priced at 1,80€ for a single ticket (as of January 2015). A package of 10 tickets, a carnet ["car-nay"] costs 14,40€. Transfers Allowed Paris Metro tickets are valid for transfers within 1 hour 30 minutes of first use, but only between certain methods of transport and depending on the type of transport used. You cannot mix and match the transfers listed below, each bullet point should be regarded as separate transfer type. For example, you cannot transfer from Paris Metro to Bus. Paris Metro Ticket transfers are allowed between: One Metro line to another, without exiting the confines of a station, or Metro to RER trains, or 2 RATP (city) Bus lines, or 1 RATP Bus and 1 Optile (suburban) bus, or tramway and any bus lines that cross it, or Noctilien (night) buses (except on Noctilien buses requiring special fares). Apart from the Paris Metro pass, the possible tickets you might buy are: Ticket Orlyval: driverless Orlyval shuttle trains connect Orly Airport's Sud and Ouest terminals to the Antony station of the RER B line, where you can transfer to an RER train. The ticket costs €12,05 for adults (valid on the Orlyval train, the RER, and the Métro) Forfait Paris-Visite pass: a pass allowing unlimited travel on the bus, metro, tramway and RER networks in Paris and its suburbs. Valid for 1, 2, 3 or 5 consecutive days in zones 1 to 3 (close suburbs) or in zones 1 to 5 (included airports CDG/Orly and Versailles). Prices for zones 1-3: 12.30 €, 2 days: 20.00 €, 3 days: 27.30 €. Ticket jeune week-end: day pass offering unlimited access for young people (< 26) within the zones you choose (1-3, 1-5, 3-5) in the Ile transport network of France (except access to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports). Price: 3.85 €/day (zones 1-3), 8.35 €/day (zones 1-5), Ticket Origine-Destination: simple single ticket within Ile de France; for example Paris/Nanterre- Université (3rd zone); price: 2.80 €. 1 The first trains leave at 05:30 from the terminal stations of each line, and the last between 00:00 and 01:00. Paris Pass Paris Pass is a sightseeing package which allows visitors free entry to over sixty of Paris' world famous museums, art galleries and historic monuments including The Louvre and Arc de Triomphe. http://www.parispass.com/. Access for those with disabilities There are elevators at the RER station and in all the University buildings. If you still have to pay the registration fees, visit NomadIT before going to the reception desk If possible, please settle your debt online before the conference starts to avoid standing in long queues. However, if the only way you can make the payment is on the spot, please bring the correct sum in euro, in CASH to NomadIT desk located in the foyer of the Bâtiment B, close to the reception desk. NomadIT working hours will be as follows: Mon: 12:00-16:00, 17:00-18:45 Tue: 08:45-13:15, 14:15-16:45 Wed: 08:30-13:00 Thu: 08:45-13:15, 14:15-16:45 Fri: 08:45-13:15, 14:15-16:30 Where and when is EurASEAA15 reception desk open The conference reception desk will be located in the foyer of the Bâtiment B. Please visit the reception desk to collect your conference programme and conference badge. If you have bought a banquet ticket, it will be in your badge. It will be open at the following times: Mon: 12:00-18:45; Tue: 08:45- 17:00; Wed: 08:30-14:30; Thu: 08:45-17:00, Fri 08:45-16-30. Conference timetable As the EurASEAA15 brochure went to print a while ago, and we have had many withdrawals (of both papers and panels) since, the printed programme will not give a very accurate representation of panel realities. Please check the Panel pages or the Panel Timetable page for the most recently updated versions of the panel schedules. Wireless internet Delegates may use the wifi network 'UPOguest-MAE' during the conference. Connect, launch your browser, which should redirect you to the login screen, where you must enter: Login: euraseaa.15 and Mot de passe: G1YGFjMf 2 Printing If you need to print your finished paper, or print a boarding pass, this can be done at the NomadIT desk for 10 cent/page. Please show restraint in your use of this service, and only print for your own use, and not for distribution to those attending workshops. If colleagues wish to have a copy of your paper, please email them a digital version. Need to get cash out of your bank? There is an ATM/cash machine on the campus opposite the entrance to Bâtiment B. If that isn't in service, there's another in the RER station, 5 minutes away.
