Sažetak Gradovi Hamburg, Rennes, Lausanne i Liverpool su europski gradovi sa različitim sustavom podzemne željeznice čiji razvoj odgovara ekonomskoj situaciji gradskih središta. Trenutno stanje pojedinih podzemno željeznićkih sustava i njihova primjenjena tehnologija uvelike odražava stanje razvoja javnog gradskog prijevoza i mreže javnog gradskog prometa. Svaki od prijevoznika u podzemnim željeznicama u tim gradovima ima različiti tehnički pristup obavljanja javnog gradskog prijevoza te korištenjem optimalnim brojem motornih prijevoznih jedinica osigurava zadovoljenje potreba javnog gradskog i metropolitanskog područja grada. Kroz usporedbu tehničkih podataka pojedinih podzemnih željeznica može se uvidjeti i zaključiti koji od sustava podzemnih željeznica je veći i koje oblike tehničkih rješenja koristi. Ključne riječi: Hamburg, Rennes, Lausanne, Liverpool, podzemna željeznica, javni gradski prijevoz, linija, tip vlaka, tvrtka, prihod, cijena. Summary Cities Hamburg, Rennes, Lausanne and Liverpool are european cities with different metro system by wich development reflects economic situation of city areas. -

Dans cette étude, nous mesurons l’impact de divers indicateurs de densité sur d’une part les pratiques de mobilité (niveau de motorisation des individus, parts modales des transports collectifs et de la voiture) et d’autre part sur le choix d’un système de TCSP par les autorités organisatrices de transport. Les résultats sont construits grâce à des tests de corrélation entre variables, mais aussi alimentés par les précédents travaux de recherche sur les liens entre densité et mobilité. -

Launch of Hyderabad Metro Network
PRESS RELEASE Paris, 30 November, 2017 Keolis begins new metro operation in Hyderabad (India) On 29 November, 2017, Keolis has begun its first passenger services on an initial 30km section of a new automated metro network in Hyderabad, India. Expected to carry 1.3 million passengers daily when fully operational, the Hyderabad metro will help to reduce road congestion and boost the local economy. This new metro service in Hyderabad reinforces Keolis’ international expertise and leadership in automated metro operations and maintenance. Keolis has begun operating the first section of a new automated metro network in Hyderabad, India. The initial section of the network covers 30km, from Myapur to Ameerpet and on from Ameerpet to Nagole. The additional sections will open in the next few years, delivering an impressive network 68 km in length, with three lines and 65 stations. To mark the occasion, an official opening ceremony was held on 28 November at Miyapur station in the presence of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Hyderabad is the thriving capital of southern India’s Telangana state and has a population of nearly 10 million people. The new metro project is a Telangana State Government initiative to support improvements to the city’s public transport and its long-term economic and social development. With this new network the city can now boast the longest overhead metro line in the world and when finally complete it will also have the second largest metro system in India. The Hyderabad metro network is equipped with CBTC1 technology, which allows for higher frequencies and speeds for passenger journeys. -

LIGHT RAIL IN FRANCE - THE CURRENT SCENE by Graham Jellett Last updated: 6th May 2013 Light Rail in France – The Current Scene by Graham Jellett,MA,MSc,CDipAF,CEng,MICE,FCILT,MCIHT Area Officer, Light Rail Transit Association Introduction This paper contains numerical and technical data, many photographs and associated information, relating to all urban public light rail systems currently operating in France. My original presentation on the subject was entitled “French Metro and Tramway Systems”, when only 14 such systems existed at the end of 1997, and was first given in January 1998 in Gateshead Civic Centre. Over the past fifteen years the content of this talk has changed significantly and has been updated regularly as new systems, extensions to existing systems and more rolling stock have come into public use, ticket prices have changed and smartcards have been introduced in 23 of the 26 conurbations with light rail. Since January 1998 the talk has been delivered to 109 audiences in England, Scotland and Wales at meetings of professional engineering and transport institutions, university transport students, light rail and railway enthusiast societies and other interested clubs and societies. Presentation to Meetings In every year since the mid-1980s France has always had in service more than double the number of metros and tramways concurrently running in the UK and now has nearly four times the ten UK light rail systems currently operating. A total of 37 public light rail systems currently operate in 26 French conurbations comprising 6 metros, 24 steel wheel tramways, 3 rubbertyred tramways and 4 tram-trains. -
