The course, or any part of it, may be closed to play at any time by the Club Professional and/or Superintendent. 2. Tee times may be obtained by personally talking with the Golf Professional or Pro Shop Staff commencing at 9 am Thursday mornings for the following 7 days. Tee times are required for all play. Golfers arriving at the golf course without a tee time are required to register and obtain a tee time at the Golf Pro Shop. Tee times are assigned by the Golf Professional or Pro Shop Staff. 3. Permission must be obtained from the Pro Shop to start on #10 tee at any time. All play must start on either #1 or #10 tee. 4. Four-ball matches have priority on the golf course. An 18-hole match should be completed in no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes. If any group has a clear hole ahead, proper golf etiquette dictates the next group be invited to play through. 5. Fivesomes may be permitted by the Golf Professional or Pro Shop Staff after 2:00 PM on weekends and at any time on weekdays. Twosomes and threesomes are discouraged on Saturday, Sunday, and holiday mornings prior to 12:00 PM but can be permitted at the discretion of the Golf Professional Staff. Players can be asked to join together to play as foursomes. 6. All beverages must be purchased from the 19th Hole. No personal coolers are allowed on the course. 2011 GOLF CART RULES 1. Electric a. Operation of a golf cart is at the risk of the operator. Persons who are, or appear to be, intoxicated shall not operate a golf cart. Cost of repair to a golf cart which is damaged shall be charged to the member under whose number the cart is issued. b. The operator of a golf cart must be at least 16 years of age or have a valid automobile driver’s license. c. Golf carts are not to be taken off the golf course premises. d. Golf cart must stay on paths on all par 3’s. e. Electric golf carts must stay on the paved cart path unless authorized by signs near the first and tenth tee. At all times, electric carts must stay on the paved cart path around greens and tees as defined by a line marked by the Superintendent. All four tires of the electric cart shall remain on the paved cart path. 2. Pull Carts a. Pull cart users must observe and obey all signs, stakes, roped off areas, and other markers used to guide electric/pull carts. b. Pull carts must stay off tee boxes and shall not be brought past the outer perimeter of the green side features. The outer perimeter of the green side features is defined by a line that runs around the outside of all sand bunkers, grass bunkers, aprons, water hazards and collars that surround the green. 3. Violations - Electric or pull cart rule violations may result in loss of golf cart privileges and/or playing privileges. 2011 GOLF TOURNAMENTS 1. All golf tournaments shall be scheduled first with the Golf Professional then approved by the Golf Committee and the Board of Governors. 2. Sign up sheets for Club events are posted at least one month prior to the event. Cancellation by a Member within 48 hours of the starting time of the event will require forfeiture of the entry fee up to a maximum of $75.00. 3. Only Members, their spouses, and their children are eligible for Club Championships. MISCELLANEOUS 1. Players are expected to observe traditional rules of golf and social etiquette. Players should rake areas of disturbed bunkers and repair ball marks during their course of play. Players shall observe such other rules as may be posted from time-to- time. 2. Members may entertain guests at the golf course upon payment of appropriate fees. 3. Cell phone ringers should be muted on the premises including in the 19th Hole. 4. Players who leave the course after the 9th hole to visit the clubhouse shall forfeit their position on the 10th hole until such time when both the 9th and 10th greens are clear of other players. ENFORCEMENT Consequences of violation of any rules will be as follows: a. Verbal warning by Golf Staff. b. Written letter from the Golf Committee Chairman with copy to the Club President. c. Letter from the Club President suspending golf privileges for a period of time and a fine, if appropriate, to cover any dam- ages to the golf course or equipment. At any point in this process, the member has the right to appeal the infraction to the Golf Professional, Golf Committee Chairman, or Club President. .
