Introduction In present days of globalization, all the rational sceptics are concentrated in finding the basic reasons for transformations or existence. The concept of Panchamahabhutas (five elements) is defined vividly and scientifically in Ayurveda classics. It is stated that human body is panchabhautika (penta ) and the food we eat is also panchabhautik, when the food undergoes digestion with the help of jatharagni (digestive ) parthiv ( Dominant) properties of food nourishes the parthiv parts of body. In these manner symmetrical properties of mahabhutas (elements) gives nutrition to corresponding symmetrical organs of body. The objective of this review article is to study the conceptual as well as applied aspect of panchamahabhuta siddhant and to prove this principle as the base foundation of all other fundamentals viz. tridosha siddhant (theory of humours), garbhotpatti (foetal development), guna-karma vada (Theory of Property & Action of substances), deha sanghatana (body composition). panchamahabhut siddhant is universally accepted theory. Even it does not oppose

the development of other theories. In fact every dravya (substance) in this has its panchamahabhuta composition doesn’t whether they are chetan (living) or achetan (non living). All the Karya dravyas (perceivable matters) existing in the world are panchabhautika. Panchamahabhutas are at the juncture of subtle to the more gross manifestation of the universe. But some people think that it is having less practical utility and more mental exercise. The reasoning of anything and everything which cannot be explained by tridoshas can be very well interpreted by panchamahabhuta siddhant. This concept of panchamahabhuta is capable in providing ultimate solution for the queries in the field of Ayurveda as per acharya Sushruta. In present scenario all branches of science are busy in finding the basic causes of existence. Even the most modernized equipment leads them to a more pensive problem. These are the limitations of theirs which has attracted them to eastern philosophy. Ayurveda can satisfy them with a more sound explanation on the basis of panchamahabhuta siddhant.

Panch Maha Bhutas Element (Prithvi): It is solid, comprehensive, dense & hard. It provides physical shape, structure & strength to the bones, muscles, tissues, teeth, nails etc. It can be heard, smell, taste, feel & sight. Element (Jala): It is liquid. It has qualities of liquidity, binding, adhesion, cooling, etc. Blood, urine, saliva belongs to Water Element. It can be heard, Taste, Feel & Sight, but not smelled. Fire Element (): It is a force, which can transform the substances to different stages. Penetration, digestion of food, conversion of thoughts, belongs to Fire Element. It can be Heard, Felt & Sight. Element (): It is in Gaseous state & provides movement, motion, sensitivity, cooling, etc. in lungs, etc. & carbon dioxide, bloating belongs to Air Element. It can be Heard & Felt. Space/Ether Element (Aakash): It represents the hollow areas, which provides freedom to movement & is immeasurable & subtle. Skull cavity, which holds brain, abdominal cavity, which holds many organs, Ear, belongs to Space Element. Physical Attraction, Fear are the examples. It can be felt only. The Natural order of these Panch Maha Bhutas, in our body is as follows: Earth & Water -- The Base (Below Navel) Fire -- The Middle (Torso) Air & Space -- The Upper Body (Chest & Throat). Any Impurity or any Imbalance in composition ratio of these Panch Maha Bhutas may cause Diseases or Illnesses.

Discussions According to Taittiriya Upnishad, Space comes from the Supreme . Air from Space, Fire from Air, Water from Fire, Earth from Water, Vegetation from Earth, Food from Vegetation

& Human beings from Food. This is how we all are connected, to get balanced. Imbalance of any will create problems (Diseases). And the same is within the human body, where Panch Maha Bhutas are playing their role as an individual or in combination with one or more. By balancing these Panch Maha Bhutas, in Yoga Practices (Poses), human body may be able to connect with inner selves, environment & the Universe. Yoga Practices (Poses) will be beneficial in the treatment of many diseases, such as, respiratory disorders, cardiovascular diseases, Endocrinal, Musculoskeletal, depression, Anxiety, Stress disorders, etc. Thus, we may conclude that Yoga Practice (Poses) is not merely a practice, it is the most scientific way of living, to restore balance & harmony in Panch Maha Bhutas, which leads to good health.

Conclusion Natural cure treatment techniques are based on the principles that, an illness or disorder cannot be cured by symptoms suppression, but rather by self-healing, through stopping the cause. Suitable environment has to be created to speed up this healing process. As the disorders have got risk as well as causal factors of three different sorts, (biological, psychological and social) the intervention of present study also planned like that, and intervention package is formed. Different related personality variables can be studied. Physiological variables related to blood pressure, respiration and body weight only are included in the study. Different related variables like blood, urine analysis, ECG, etc can be included. Advanced technology to study the cardiac functioning can be included. The study didn't investigate the individual contribution of the various intervention strategies in the package.
