Professional: Under my leadership in 2008, the Center will host the Southern Legislative Conference/Council of State Governments’ Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills for emerging state leaders in the South. In the past, I have taught workshops on legislative management, performance appraisal, compensation management, and other personnel issues for in-service professionals.

Special: I initiated the Center’s women’s leadership programs including N.E.W. (National Education for Women’s) Leadership, an award-winning residential conference for undergraduate women in Oklahoma, and Pipeline to Politics, a biennial conference. Both programs encourage and empower women for participation in and preparation for careers in public policy, politics and public service. 2001 to the present.
