Finland in Five Days

This round trip of Southern Finland includes six cities in five days. We start with Porvoo, which is a historical city with a beautiful wooden old town. Porvoo has played a significant role in Finnish political history. From Porvoo we continue to Lahti, which is famous of its winter sports games, Salpausselkä Ski Games including ski jumping, Nordic combined and cross-country skiing. Lahti is situated by the beautiful lake Vesijärvi. After Lahti the tour continues north to Tampere, which has a strong history as an industrial city. Tampere lies between two lakes, Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi, which results in splendid sceneries. The next city is Turku, divided by the river Aura. Turku is the former capital of Finland, it is also one of the oldest cities in Finland, and thus has a great history. Turku is situated on the sea shore and offers also a beautiful archipelago for visitors, which we will see on a cruise from Turku to Naantali. We end the tour in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, which also lies on the sea shore and is called the Daughter of the Baltic Sea.

The tour includes a fully equipped and air-conditioned bus at your disposal during the whole trip, an English-speaking tour leader, guided city tours in English in five cities, an archipelago cruise from Turku to Naantali and an excursion to the fortress island Suomenlinna in Helsinki, the below mentioned meals and accommodation in double rooms in Lahti, Tampere, Turku and Helsinki.
