    STREIFLICHTER ZUR HOTEL- UND TOURISMUSGESCHICHTE IM SAASTAL BIS ZUM ERSTEN WELTKRIEG 1 Roland Flückiger-Seiler 1 Die Entdeckung und Erforschung der Alpenwelt Wichtige Grundlagen für die Entdeckung der Schweizer Alpen als «Garten Edens» leisteten engagierte Forscher und Schriftsteller bereits im frühen 18. Jahrhun- dert. Einer der Ersten war der Zürcher Arzt und Universalgelehrte Johann Jakob Scheuchzer (1672–1733), der sich als erster Naturforscher nach dem lähmenden 17. Jahrhundert mit wissenschaftlichen Absichten in die Alpen wagte. In den Som- mermonaten durchstreifte er mit seinen Studenten alpine Gegenden und sammelte alle erdenklichen Daten über Natur und Umwelt. Mit diesem Wissen publizierte er 1713 eine vierteilige Karte der Schweiz, die lange Zeit als beste Darstellung der Eidgenossenschaft galt. Die von ihm erhobenen Daten und die eigene Beobach- tung des Gebirges auf seinen Wanderungen über fast alle Schweizer Alpenpässe bildeten die Basis für das seit 1702 in mehreren Auflagen erschienene Lebenswerk ‹Itinera per Helvetiae alpinas regiones›. Bereits 1704 nahm ihn die «Royal Socie- ty» in London als Mitglied auf, eine damals äusserst seltene Ehre für einen Aus- länder. Die Verbreitung seiner naturwissenschaftlichen Arbeiten über die Schweiz 1 Diese Übersicht basiert auf Texten, die der Autor in seinem Buch ‹Berghotels zwischen Alp- weide und Gipfelkreuz› 2015 im Verlag Hier und Jetzt, Baden, veröffentlicht hat. Inzwischen sind noch weitere Fakten zum Vorschein gekommen und die Texte zum Saastal sind hier über- sichtlich zusammengefasst. Der Autor möchte bei dieser Gelegenheit allen danken, die ihn bei seinen Forschungen im Saastal unterstützt haben und noch unterstützen: In erster Linie Damian Bumann als Archivar im «Historischen Archiv Saastal» (HAS). Dann geht der Dank auch an den Stiftungsrat von «Saas ischi Heimat» sowie an Beat Anthamatten und Bernhard Andenmatten, die mir zu wertvollem Material verholfen haben.

    Arrêté quinquennal sur l'exercice de la chasse en Valais pour les années 2016 à 2020 du 22 juin 2016 Le Conseil d’Etat du canton du Valais vu la loi fédérale sur la chasse et la protection des mammifères et oiseaux sauvages du 20 juin 1986 (LChP); vu l'ordonnance sur la chasse et la protection des mammifères et oiseaux sauvages du 29 février 1988 (OChP); vu la loi cantonale sur la chasse et la protection des mammifères et oiseaux sauvages du 30 janvier 1991 (LcChP); vu le règlement d'exécution du 22 juin 2016 de la loi sur la chasse du 30 janvier 1991 (RexChP); sur la proposition du Département des transports, de l’équipement et de l’environnement, arrête: Art. 1 Champ d’application Le présent arrêté complète les dispositions légales régissant l’exercice de la chasse et en détermine les conditions pratiques. Art. 2 Avenant Le Conseil d'Etat modifie le présent arrêté par un avenant qui contient toute disposition qui s'avère urgente. Art. 3 Types de permis Il existe les types de permis suivants: A : la chasse à balle (chasse haute); B : la chasse à grenaille (chasse basse); A+B : la chasse à balle et à grenaille; C : la chasse au gibier d'eau; E : la chasse aux prédateurs; S : la chasse au sanglier; G : permis général (comprenant tous les types de permis précités à l’exception du permis S). Schmid1 and Willem-B. Stern1 Abstract 1 In this paper we present new whole rock analyses of amphibolites from the ophiolitic and adjacent continental tectonic units in the Monte Rosa region. Mg numbers and Ni contents indicate that these amphibolites were derived from fractionated magmas with compositions ranging from E- to N-MORB. Based on their Ni, Ti, REE and Nb systematics, the metabasalts from the ophiolitic Zermatt-Saas and Antrona units and from the continental units of 5 the Furgg zone and the Portjengrat unit are ascribed to a common origin. They represent a coherent suite ranging from T- to N-MORB. In contrast, amphibolites from the continental Siviez-Mischabel and Monte Rosa nappes were derived from enriched MORB and/or gabbroic precursors, which are not related to the metabasalts from the ophiolites, the Furgg zone or the Portjengrat unit. The geochemical differences between the basalts of the ophiolitic Zermatt-Saas and Antrona units and the adjacent 10 continental Furgg zone and the Portjengrat unit are very subtle. Most mafic rocks were derived from low to moderate degrees of melting of an N-MORB type mantle source. Some compositional parameters such as (Ce/Sm)n, Zr* and (Nb/Zr)n indicate a transition from T-MORB compositions in the continental units towards less enriched composi- tions in the ophiolitic units.

    5-Jahres-Beschluss über die Ausübung der Jagd im Wallis für die Jahre 2016 bis 2020 vom 22. Juni 2016 Der Staatsrat des Kantons Wallis eingesehen das Bundesgesetz über die Jagd und den Schutz wildlebender Säugetiere und Vögel vom 20. Juni 1986 (JSG); eingesehen die Verordnung über die Jagd und den Schutz wildlebender Säugetiere und Vögel vom 29. Februar 1988 (JSV); eingesehen das Gesetz über die Jagd und den Schutz wildlebender Säugetiere und Vögel vom 30. Januar 1991 (KJSG); eingesehen das Ausführungsreglement vom 22. Juni 2016 zum Jagdgesetz vom 30. Januar 1991 (ReKJSG); auf Antrag des Departements für Verkehr, Bau und Umwelt, beschliesst: Art. 1 Anwendungsbereich Dieser Beschluss ergänzt die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen betreffend die Jagdausübung und setzt die praktischen Bedingungen fest. Art. 2 Nachtrag In einem Nachtrag beschliesst der Staatsrat alle anderen Bestimmungen die sich als dringend erweisen.
